For all the attention on battleground polls giving Hillary Clinton the edge, Donald Trump enjoys at least one electoral advantage in his uphill climb to the White House: Republicans are outpacing Democrats in registering new voters in key states.
A review of registration figures shows that in the swing states that sign up voters by party, Republicans are seeing a significantly bigger boost since 2012. In states like Florida and Pennsylvania, the party has added tens of thousands of voters to the rolls at a time when Democrats have seen their base shrink.
“The numbers [in those states] … are a huge shift from what we’ve seen in 2012,” Republican National Committee spokeswoman Lindsay Walters said.
The surge doesn’t change the fact that Clinton leads, if only by a thin margin, in most battleground state polls, which presumably reflect the current voter make-up.

What utter garbage: POLLS ARE BASED ON TURNOUT MODELS. TURNOUT MODELS ARE BASED ON REGISTRATION.
But they don’t change at all, or admit their models are wrong.

I am just seething over this. It’s like taking the Buddy Ryan Bears four years after Ryan and ALL the key players are gone and saying, “but the defense . . . .”
Though it was supposed to be a positive story for Trump (and it was) the way it was qualified was yet more evidence of Fox’s moving to the left.
Its enthusiasm, stupid.
People may say they’ll vote for Hillary but they don’t say how motivated they are to cast a ballot for her.
On the Democratic side, no one is excited about her.
No matter what the polls say, turnout won’t be like in 2012.
Obama isn’t on the ballot and every election is different.
Gotta add to this the 200,000+ troops Obama brought home as part of the draw down of troops. These are the same troops who would be disenfranchised.
How ironic, Obama will deliver the Presidency to Trump.

I’m told by people in Mont. Co., OH (Dayton) that they have had “thousands” of early voters and many union people-—but anymore union doesn’t=Dems. I don’t necessarily see this as a bad sign, but stats have also shown that early voting did NOT=”more voting” or more turnout, just earlier voting just voted earlier.

The MSM is synthetically hyping for Hillary—Its an old ploy. Like many old playbook rules—Trump has changed things in new ways. I fear they will A) Assassinate him. B) Set up a fake scandal, C) Stuff the Ballot Boxes to show Hillary “Won”. D) Have Obama cancel the election due to a crisis—and appoint Hillary President or Co-President. Anything can and will be used to put her in power—Just ask Vince Foster (but you will need a Ouija Board).
