Trunk Monkey (exclusively offered by Suburban Auto Group) is way, way, way cooler than Survey Monkey.

It is interesting that you see three different campaign commercials for her down here, make me wonder why she is running ads in Texas unless she/they think its close.
I got an email from the Greg Abbott PAC/Group saying that they were tied in Texas.
I just don’t see how that is possible.
I know it’s anecdotal, but I know a lot of folks here who reliably vote Republican and don’t really like Trump, but none of them are not going to vote for him, or not vote at all, and they WILL NOT vote for Hillary or the other two.

Don’t worry, the last poll out on August 1 by Ipsos showed a 16 point lead by Trump. Everyone I talked to down here that votes Republican is supporting Trump.

“Respondents were recruited from users of SurveyMonkey’s polling platform, who were invited to complete another survey after completing separate surveys generated by site users.”

So first respondents self select to be on Survey Monkey’s site, then they pre-survey those folks to get an indication of their leaning, and then select which to poll. Oh, they also have a host of additional information on their limited pool of respondents (including even “lifestyle” choices), with which to consciously skew the respondents they select.

About as far from random as you can get - able to produce any desired outcome.

Trump is on a real bounce
and
he should be leading by at least 10 or 15 points in TX anyway

this poll doesn’t sound right, but just in case Trump had better get going in the Lone Star State like he is elsewhere

Three weeks later Trump +17 in the same poll in TX. Not much movement.

Texas is full of big cities (everything’s bigger). Big cities lean left. I’m not shocked.

Texas??? What??? They’re trying to turn Texas blue! Maybe that’s why Trump made a campaign stop there not too long ago. SMH.

Pfft!! Wet dreams from the mediawhores, ...it ain’t gonna happen!!!! Trump’s rally in Austin blew that duck outta the water!!! Imagine that..Austin the bastion of liberalism in my state and trump drew a YUGE crowd! So I call it a big fart lie!! IF she were ahead I would see ads by the beast by the millions ...though I live in a VERY BLUE CITY FULL OF ILLEGALS and this city will vote RAT...BUT I was in SA, FW, and Dallas a few days ago visiting family and zippo ads on the tube from the rodent!! If she was a tad ahead I would’ve noticed a Titanic infiltration of ads on the tube!

has anyone noticed how msnbc is a repeater for Washington post stories. they do not even bother to report, they just repeat.

Cruz better up his loyalty game or he will be unemployed too.

I’m skeptical of MSM polls, but I have yet to see any Trump or Clinton bumper stickers or yard signs in Plano or Frisco, both reliably Republican Dallas suburbs, or in liberal central Dallas. On the other hand, there was a considerable amount of Trump support when I was driving through western Nebraska and eastern Wyoming two weeks ago. During the primary season, I saw a good amount of Cruz and Carson support, and some Sanders stickers, the latter in central Dallas.

I turned off Morning Joe the day after the conventions so I don’t know what they’re saying. Happily!
