New York Times Can’t Stop Pushing the Myth of Obama’s Literary Genius(Barf+)

No one much cared about Obama’s second book, The Audacity of Hope, a policy brief written by committee and published in 2006. It was his 1995 memoir, Dreams from My Father, that emerged as the sacred text in the cult of Obama. “There is no underestimating the importance of Dreams from My Father in the political rise of Barack Obama,” New Yorker editor David Remnick would later write in his exhaustive look at Obama’s life and career, The Bridge.

The problem, of course, is that Obama did not write either of his books in any meaningful way. On October 9, 2008, American Thinker gave me my first extended opportunity to make the case that either Obama experienced a miraculous turnaround in his literary abilities -- his pre-Dreams work was sophomoric tripe -- or that he had major editorial help, up to and including a ghostwriter, specifically Bill Ayers.

Uh, just like hildabama wrote some crap about a village. NOT. But, I'll just about guarantee lyin' king and hildabaama take home a bigger check than the actual writers. Besides, with as much time as he spends on the links where would he find time to "write" it anyway?

Are there really people who can read that still believe this crap, especially when he needed teleprompters to talk to third graders?

A real autobiography would note his lifestyle of snorting coke with black street hustlers before he had anal sex with them.

I'm not convinced that Obama can even read. This man is the stupidest person who has ever occupied the White House.

In NK, if you don't glorify the leader enough, you could go to prison, or in extreme cases, face death by anti-aircraft battery.

With the NYT, they do it because they want to. Or, from the point of view of some hack writing it, because the editorial policy mandates it.

Isn’t that covered by “editorial policy mandates it?”

Although, you’d think that knowing that, they’d have found work elsewhere.

I’ve looked and asked for a list of his published, scholarly works on Constitutional Law in vain. Can anyone, anywhere help me find them?

He was a Professor of Constitutional Law, right?

I read Jack Cashill’s book, DECONSTRUCTING OBAMA, and came away persuaded that Bill Ayers wrote Obama’s book. Cashill used several methods to analyze Obama’s “writings” including vocabulary usage and grammatical structure. For instance, Obama constantly fails to keep his subjects and verbs in agreement.

No matter what you think of Bill Ayers’ politics and terrorism, he’s a powerful and skillful writer. Jack shows that the statistical analysis of DREAMS FROM MY FATHER is virtually identical to Ayers’ published works, and far different from Obama’s published newspaper/magazine writings. And also completely different from THE AUDACITY OF HOPE, which was written by Obama’s speech-writer.
