The governor’s phone message was not racist, but it was considered profane.

Meanwhile, democrats use all kind of abusive language directed at republicans, but hey, that’s OK with the media and the politicians.

I hope Gov. Paul LePage has a place in the Trump Administration!

That's probably what he's hoping for. If Trump loses or if he doesn't pick LePage for anything then it'll be interesting to see what he does.

>> He left a nasty voicemail to a Dem - http://www.pressherald.com/2016/08/26/prove-im-a-racist-lepage-challenges-westbrook-legislator-in-obscenity-laced-voice-mail/ “Mr. Gattine, this is Gov. Paul Richard LePage,” a recording of the governor’s phone message says. “I would like to talk to you about your comments about my being a racist, you (expletive). I want to talk to you. I want you to prove that I’m a racist. I’ve spent my life helping black people and you little son-of-a-bitch, socialist (expletive). You … I need you to, just friggin. I want you to record this and make it public because I am after you. Thank you.” <<

Ridiculous. The RATs are demanding LePage resign for telling the blunt truth to a scumbag RAT who was smearing him?

LePage shouldn't apologize whatsoever. He should stand by the comments and double down on them. If I was a member of the Maine legislature, I'd introduce a resolution applauding the governor for his honesty and courage.

I hope he does not resign.

He was called a racist by a leftist dweeb and became angered and called the man and left a nasty message.

Lepage is the father of a black adopted child.

Also, whether we like it or not, calling someone a racist (or the R-word) in these days of heightened tensions between the races, abetted by the Obama Administration, is like pointing at someone and ordering them killed.

In some areas of the country, calling someone racist will gather a crowd and get the person maimed or killed.

To accuse the governor of Maine of racism is to put him in great danger, for there are people out there who will kill prominent people called racists.

The Dem weeinie knew exactly what he was doing.

Funniest part is the libs are all attacking him with 2014 crime stats that say only14% minority drug charges.... State is 3% minority so even there attacks say 10x the minority crime rate.

I live in Maine, also. Lincoln, in a house in the woods on a lake. Love it. Getting older, though, and not a fan of winter and ice.

LePage should tell the dems, the media, and GOP pantywaists whose panties are in a twist to all eat shiite and die.

That said, he was foolish to leave a voicemail and his response since has been somewhat erratic, he shouldn’t have said he might resign.

I hope his career is intact enough in 2018 to take on Angus Queen.
