Ah yes, Nate Silver did say this poll was no good - even though he referenced it in 2012.

I don’t think I was ever a “never-Trumper”, but I was certainly not happy with the way he ran the primary campaign, and I still wholeheartedly support Ted Cruz (I know, that statement could get me banned here on FR).
That said, I have come around to voting for Trump. For me, it never was about the personalities, hurt feelings and all that, it’s been my concerns about Trump’s inconsistent positions and his electability. I’m still not sure about all his policy positions, but obviously (and I shouldn’t even have to say this), between him and Hillary, it’s not even close. So yeah, at the end of the day, I’m #NeverHillary, which at this point can only mean one thing — VOTE TRUMP!!

You won’t get banned for being a Cruz supporter, but quite a few people are going to wonder how long it’s going to take you to catch up.
Little clue: if he was worthy of your support, he would have won the primary.
He’s not even President yet but I’m wondering how to fit all the winning into an already too-busy schedule!
Well, I think it’s legitimate to feel some encouragement when Trump is in the lead in this poll. I don’t think it’s a biased poll.
On the other hand, it always seems to move within the margin of error, so there is certainly nothing conclusive about it.
History warns us that no poll is conclusive except the one taken on November 8th!

Upon what were they basing this ‘7 point’ lead? Honestly, as I look at all the polls out there, there is a significant range of results, with Trump ahead in more than a few. It makes no sense to me to ‘average’ poll results - considering they use different polling techniques and statistical approaches, and that there is sometimes a 15 point spread between them on the extremes. We haven’t even had debates yet, and for a lot of the damaging information on Hillary it will take time for it to percolate out there - considering the MSM won’t inform people. It will, however, get out there.

To me, that’s a factor that lends credibility to this poll. Those that show dramatic shifts within days don’t make a whole lot of sense, and I would question those first.

People in NY don’t know that Mrs. Bill is not from there. They do as they are told.
So Trump supporters may need to do many things.
1) Get the committed to the polls.
2) Close the deal for the uncommitted.
3) Get the ground game going in the precincts that really matter.
4) Register poll watchers to watch for fraud in every precinct
5) Make sure that the military absentee ballots are counted
6) Start a scandal of the day list... and top 10 Hillary scandals for the week... every week until the election
7) Plaster the news with Huma is a jihadist supporter and Hillary’s confidant.
8) Start Trump rally parties in every neighborhood w/ free beer!
9) Hire cartoonists like Ben Garison to keep the humor flowing. And a few stand up comedians...
10) Have the sound of water flowing during the debate so Hillary’s depends undergarments overflow!!!
Time for a Hillary as the Wizard of Oz facade cartoon and ad commercial. Make it really funny so it takes off in popularity.
