San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick has caused a firestorm of controversy since he decided he wouldnt stand for the national anthem because, he believes, America oppresses black people.
But perhaps the most biting condemnation of his actions came Monday from former Superbowl champion Burgess Owens when he spoke to Fox & Friends.
Priceless.
Hehehehehe, I love. The good part is that it is probably true.
BET was going to name itself TNN, until
they found out it had already been taken.
Ditto.
Kap is a roided up imbecile. The bottom line is that nothing will ever be enough for these people....a President, insane quotas, trillions in wealth redistribution etc.....nothing will ever be enough.
I remember him from his Raiders days.
Great testimonial by Owens. I also liked his statements about influencing the younger people of our day.
It’s a responsibility that the benched played does not appreciate or perform in my opinion.
We could give them millions each in reparations, a mansion, a yacht, a fleet of luxury cars and they'd still have inferiority complexes as deep as the ocean.
Some wise up and grow out of it. People like Kap never do.
I don’t find that funny

He should tell it to the front office at the 49ers and/or the NFL. This guy Has all the freedom of speech as anyone in this country. But he did this wearing an NFL uniform of the 49ers
He was speaking for the 49ers and the NFL. No way around that. It’s getting to be too late for them to officially condemn it, thereby separating themselves from it - the 49ers and the NFL
I would only disagree slightly with that, in that I think there is only one thing that would satisfy these cretins, and that would be our early demise.
“””... I think there is only one thing that would satisfy these cretins, and that would be our early demise.””
I agree, but even that would be fleeting. After we were all gone how would they survive?
It took me until the day after the OJ trial to realize that there was a genuine target on my back. Stupid. What can I say.
The Trump campaign should invite him to be a spokesperson (if he’s on the Trump Train). I love the title of the book.
