Mrs. Clinton’s speech was intended to link Mr. Trump to a fringe ideology of conspiracies and hate, but for the leaders of the alt-right, the attention from the Democratic presidential nominee was a moment in the political spotlight that offered a new level of credibility. It also provided a valuable opportunity for fund-raising and recruiting.

I have only heard of it in the last month or so. I've been looking at websites that I have been told are "alt-right" (such as Takimag) for years, but I had not heard this term until recently.

The original wikileaks salvo that was fired, explained all of this. Often the DNC gets a medias article to review before their own editors.so receive talking points. A few weeks ago that talking point was to link Trump to the russians. Trump, countered them, but demoting manafort and other ways. While the rest of the media doesn’t take the wikileaks seriously trump does. He probably has seen the ones that discuss actual cheating tactics, and is actively countering them.
The fact of the matter is that hillary is way off message, and that is right where we want her.

It’s an update on the vast right wing conspiracy Alinsky tactic, this time bringing in skin-heads and neo-Nazis to discredit Trump supporters.
Make no mistake she is painting us at FreeRepublic with her broad brush and I think we should reject the term out of hand and not embrace it.

I 100% agree. i am past the point of even caring what she , and her voters think of me. Sadly millions fall for this crap every 4 years.
