Clinton Crash: Trump Closes Gap in Reuters Poll

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has made up significant ground against Hillary Clinton in the past few days in the Reuters/Ipsos poll, where he trailed by 12 points on Tuesday, 45%-33%, but is now behind only 5 points, 41%-36%.

When four candidates are included in the poll — taking in Green Party candidate Jill Stein and Libertarian Gary Johnson — Clinton’s lead narrows to just 3 points, 39%-36% — a statistical dead heat, given the poll’s margin of error of 3 points.

The poll was taken Aug. 22-25, over a period where Clinton accused Trump of aligning with the Ku Klux Klan and the “alt-right.” The same period also saw new revelations of pay-to-play corruption while Clinton was at the State Department.

Reuters reports:

The Aug. 22-25 opinion poll found that 41 percent of likely voters supported Clinton ahead of the Nov. 8 presidential election, while 36 percent supported Trump. Some 23 percent would not pick either candidate and answered “refused,” “other” or “wouldn’t vote.”

In a separate Reuters/Ipsos poll that includes candidates from small, alternative parties, Clinton leads the field by a smaller margin. Some 39 percent of likely voters supported Clinton in the four-way poll, compared with 36 percent for Trump, 7 percent for Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson and 3 percent for Green Party nominee Jill Stein.

Both polls were conducted online in English in all 50 states. They included 1,154 likely voters and have a credibility interval of 3 percentage points.

Did anyone see the interview with Trump on Fox (Greta). Kimberly Guilfoyle asked Trump if he is elected if he would seek charges against Hillary for the emails. I think he said (paraphrase) that it is something they might consider. Interesting !

Anybody seen the latest Hillary ad in PA? It seems she found one boutique shirt maker in America who consented to call Trump a liar on camera for saying he couldn't find someone to make clothing for his line in America.

"I'd like that business," says the pro-Hillary owner. If you know anything about clothing manufacturing, the guy doesn't appear to be putting out a quality product. Third world countries have more up to date machines, precision and sewing methods that what the ad shows in his shop. If I want clothing made in America, we typically buy the material from a fabric store, my wife picks out a pattern and we give it to a church lady we know who does it as a hobby to supplement her social security income.

There are also companies like Fredrick's here in Pennsylvania (they advertise in the Wall Street Journal regularly) who still make some clothing in America. But they also subcontract a lot of it out if you read the fine print.

Most people with a functioning brain know that Trump means that he can't find a clothing manufacturer in America to make the clothing he wants for the quality he wants in the necessary quantities he needs to market and make a reasonable profit. Hillary's new ad is aimed at the rest.

One of my FB friends who claims to be a disenchanted Republican Never Trumper was all agog of Hildebeast's shrill tirade.

I resisted the temptation to troll him--because I didn't want to bother for a variety of reasons.

My problem now is that I am so tuned out, I don't know if anything is really catching on. I am tired of being lied to; I am tired of hearing every 4 years how the GOP nominee is racist.

She says, "Huh?" and I tell her I have to see if they've pulled off some diversion or false flag overnight.

I am so worried about the extent of what she, They, will do after Trump's numbers go up after Labor Day and especially after the debates. Keep in mind she's in prison if Trump wins, along with Bill. The tentacles go to Obama and he will probably be indicted. Just the fact he knew she had a private server and didn't report it is a crime.

They will do Anything to win this election. What does Soros have in the works? He said he's going to produce 10 million new voters. They're giving illegals the right to vote. They're releasing felons so they can vote. What does the DNC have planned? I'm sure the democrat fraud 'ground game' is in full planning mode, especially in Philly and the other big cities.

The MSM is so in the tank for Hillary they're not even trying to hide it anymore. Yet, sadly, a lot of people still get their news once a day from the networks, CNN or MSNBC.

Will she have Bill offed for a sympathy vote? The whole beltway federal government is a giant pay for play behemoth. Hillary is 'resting' and thinks she can just coast to victory? So what's up with that? Does she know something that we don't? The diebold voting machines? I put Nothing past these people.

Sadly, as Levin says, we are living in a soft tyranny now. As Governor Greg Abbott just said, "We have no second chance to get this right” and "This year's presidential election is “the last chance” for Americans to stop big government," Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.) said Monday.

We're in for the fight of our lives. Do everything you can to help Trump win. If you were for Cruz, Rand Paul or whomever, remember this is a choice between Trump or full on communist tyranny. Think of your grandkids and the generations unborn.
