President Obama can't catch a break in Jersey City.
A first-term assemblywoman's effort to rename a city elementary school after the nation's first black president fizzled this week when the school board rejected the move, two months after the board approved naming a different school after Maya Angelou instead of Obama.
The board's action this week came amid accusations of backroom deals and officials being left in the dark about the school renaming process. And it has left Assemblywoman Angela McKnight, who made renaming a Jersey City school after Obama one of her first initiatives after taking office in January, livid.

Good move...who would want a school named Villian Idiot. That gives a poor impression of its ability to educate.
That’s racist...
I don’t think so, and I’m glad they had some common sense here.
Yeah!!! My birthplace did the right thing!!
I’ll be honest....I’m all broke up about it (smirk).
“Obama School” would be far worse than “Martin Luther King Boulevard”. Besides having high crime, any schools named for the parasite soon to leave our White House are certain to have exceptionally high dropout rates.
We have an Obama high-school in Pittsburgh.
Except whenever their sports teams play they are called University Prep, not Obama.
So as to avoid headlines such as “East Allegheny Crushes Obama” or “Obama Killed By Crusaders”.
Just 2 months after naming a school for the worst poet in the world instead of Obama - the worst president in history. That had to be a tough call.
Did you have to have a new birth certificate issued after the Hudson County scandal?
Kenyan Usurper High is not exactly a resume item.
ROFL!!!
Talk about stupid....who would name their school “Zero” ?
It’s a shame about the University Prep name. The Crusaders headline would be fun.
Obama? Angelou?

Could go on and on. I acknowledge that there’s a certain commonality among these men that is demonized. A damn shame, they should stand on their accomplishments alone.
It’s not over. She has 60 days to resubmit her request, and she will do so. This is a dyed in the hair extensions Obot is forever brainwashed. I have relatives just like her. They hear no ‘evil’.
