If you want to be unquestionably affirmed and unchallenged in all your beliefs and views, dont go to the University of Chicago.
In a letter published by Intellectual Takeout, John Ellison, dean of students at the Chicago college, warns incoming students that there is no tolerance for the kind of student demands that have trended in recent years:
Our commitment to academic freedom means that we do not support so-called trigger warnings, we do not cancel invited speakers because their topics might prove controversial, and we do not condone the creation of intellectual safe spaces where individuals can retreat from ideas and perspectives at odds with their own.

I think the liberal loonies that run most of the Universities are starting to become of afraid they are going to be eaten by their own little monsters they have created.
Now how long until the Title IX tyrants try something? I wouldn’t put it past them to lash out despite freedom winning (such as with Mark Perry’s victory over UofM).

I think they’re more afraid of losing their donor support. This has happened elsewhere — the PC garbage has made the alumnae either alienated or hostile.
