Hackers thought to be working for Russian intelligence have carried out a series of cyber breaches targeting reporters at the New York Times and other US news organizations, according to US officials briefed on the matter.
The intrusions, detected in recent months, are under investigation by the FBI and other US security agencies. Investigators so far believe that Russian intelligence is likely behind the attacks and that Russian hackers are targeting news organizations as part of a broader series of hacks that also have focused on Democratic Party organizations, the officials said.

Looks to me the Russians realize that news organizations ARE Democrat Party organizations!!!
We already have emails showing the DNC gave the media stories to publish/air and nobody seems to care. So what more could the Russian hacks show that we already don’t know & that doesn’t seem to make a difference in this election?
Enough with the “Russians did it” excuses. Almost like “the devil made me do it” from yesteryear.

But they repeat themselves. Nows orgs and DNA, same thing.
If these hacks are being perpetrated by the Russians it could very well be a favor to us in that they seem to be exposing the worst of the worst (of people in power) in the U.S.
Perhaps President Trump can thank them for helping us take out the trash.
Why would the Russians hack their communist allies?
Why would the FBI be investigating a hack at a Private Business?
Maybe they think The NYT’s is part of the Obama Government.
Normal private businesses have to provide their own solutions to hacks.
