Last week Obama took a lot of heat for playing golf with Larry David and attending lavish Hillary fundraisers instead of taking the time to visit Louisiana (see our post "Does Obama Care About Black People? Louisiana Asks The President To Cut Vacation Short").
But, it turns out Obama did do something, his DOJ sent Louisiana a 16-page "guidance" letter warning officials not to be racist in their recovery efforts. According to Breitbart, the "guidance" has struck a nerve with Louisiana residents including Retired Air Force Colonel Rob Maness who is currently running for U.S. Senate:
The U.S. Department of Justice under President Barack Obama issued letters to the survivors [in] Louisiana of this great flood of 2016 and said you better not be racist down there
They sent letters that hit the streets a few days ago, maybe yesterday, that basically warned the citizens of Louisiana that you better not be racist when youre hiring people to fix your homes, Maness said.

Cher, who else keeps coming back for a butt whipping like Alabama, every football season?
Dey call dem da 'crimson tide' cause da 'red ass' Louisi-ann done give 'em. ;-)
I think the main racists from Katrina (mayor and governor) are out of office now. They’re all in DC
Yep, dang it.. I wish we could go back and edit our posts, even if there were a time limit, of say 5 mins or so. Or at least a larger preview window. The small window didn’t show the formatting error. That’s why it slip past me, that and my poor html skills.
I believe the mayor is in jail? The governor at the time resigned, IIRC.
First off, he’s never going away, he’ll be the agitator in chief.
In Louisiana we know what that is.
Darn it all. I was packed and ready to go to Louisiana tomorrow in order to volunteer my services as I did during Katrina. (I was awarded the “Coast Guard Humanitarian Award” for that service.)
I will now stay in my Cave because NOBODY, EVEN that PIECE OF SHIT in the white hut, warns me to “not be a racist!”
As usual, it is his shotgun approach that hits the innocent as well as the guilty.
I am really pissed off at this continuing crap.
Oh yeah...very popular in Florida too!
Mildew is the State Flower.
OK, you made me laugh.
"Now remember, when things look bad and it looks like you're not gonna make it, then you gotta get mean. I mean plumb, mad-dog mean. 'Cause if you lose your head and you give up then you neither live nor win. That's just the way it is." - Josey Wales
Got me one of them medals around here, somewhere, too - different branch, different state, different catastrophe though.
I suppose that makes you and I, brothers in of humanity. :-)
Does that mean I’m funny?
Like a clown?
Do I amuse you?
LOL

Congress should just cut off funding to the Justice Dept until the whole swamp is drained.
They help nothing, and their whole aim is to inflame racial tensions and provide cover for the uni-party schemes of corruption.
I mean at the very least, some serious no-confidence votes should be made.
I know I know... wishful thinking on my part.
good news indeed
I’ve forgotten if it shows up in the article posting section, but here in the lower right corner is a pull out feature, where you can make the window as wide as you want it.
You may want to look for that over there. It will help you being able to see what your finished post will look like.
Hope it does show up there for you.
Here are some pictures of the "Cajun navy" rescuing some of the 14,000 people they rescued, with nothing but their own boats and risking their own safety, and zero help from the federal government. Some of those 14,000 are black, as is shown in the pictures.
How many black people did the department of justice save? Or Hillary Clinton? Or FEMA, or any other federal agency? Or Black Lives Matter? Did they matter when their homes were under water and they could drown?
A man is going viral for questioning where Black Lives Matter activists are during the flooding in Louisiana.
Jerry L. Washington, a Baton Rouge native, posted a video to Facebook, asking why activists haven’t done anything to help the majority African-American city.
“Where are the Black Lives Matter and the Black Panthers?” Washington says in the video. “Because I aint seen one Black Panther boat or one Black Lives Matter boat. All I see is our own people from our own city saving us.”
Thanks!
You bet.
