I really believe this was “compassion” for the folks rather than a photo op like the dems would wont to do...
I can’t believe the MSM is mentioning this! Trump just won the election!
Trump has a big heart.
At least he dropped everything and went. 85,000 homeless. Because of the type of damage i.e. rising water there may be billions in uninsured losses unless they had federal flood insurance. These people are really hurting in this natural disaster and my prayers go out to them.
A must see...Donald Trump tours Baton Rouge floods, greeted by the people! THEY LOVE HIM!
Warn your liberal friends..be careful if you DARE watch Mr. Trump...he GROWS on ya!
Notice how he LISTENS and absorbs information....
First two minutes and last two are the best. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F5AqZh6Pkwk
I hear bubba and the beast are flying over to Martha’s vineyard tonight to celebrate Bubba’s birthday! No time for the peasants in Louisiana. .....just...Let them eat cake!
USA,USA,USA! Go Trump. I like him more and more everyday.
Where is FEMA? They are going to need temporary quarters while their homes are rebuilt/repaired. Do they really expect Trump to have a Hotel built for them? All trump can do is talk to people, and that’s a photo op. They will need more than bottled water. The Insurance adjusters are on the way, but its going to take more than a couple of months to get the place back in order. The school gym is a total loss, but would make a basketball game more interesting.
Most have figured out Obama by now. Even dyed in the wool fourth generation Democrats know Obama is only about himself, with the American People a very distant second.
The flood victim told Trump “We knew you would be here!”
She welcomed his presence.
People are complaining about Trump got those supplies at a discount... Buy in quantity, and you get discount.
Mary Landrieu Calls out Clinton, Obama; Hell Has Frozen Over!
From The Hayride:
In A Rare Moment, Mary Landrieu Thanks Trump For Louisiana Visit, Throws Shade At Hillary & Obama
After Donald Trump visited Louisiana to help unload supplies for victims ravaged by the massive, unprecedented flooding, former Sen. Mary Landrieu (D) thanked the GOP nominee and actually called out Hillary Clinton and President Obama for refusing to visit.
Heres what Landrieu said:
Byron York Verified account @ByronYork
Mary Landrieu: I want to thank Mr. Trump for coming to LA I hope Sec Clinton will make her way down. I hope Pres Obama will make a visit.
Meanwhile, Obama is has remained on vacation at Marthas Vineyard, while Clinton has yet to even make an official statement on the flooding.
From The (Baton Rouge) Advocate
Appearing on CNN, former U.S. Sen. Mary Landrieu, a Democrat, also praised Trumps trip.
I want to thank Mr. Trump for coming to Louisiana, she said. He brought attention to our state and we need that now.
Landrieu said she hopes that Clinton and Obama will make similar trips to Louisiana in the coming days.
Its really a serious disaster, she said. We need all the attention and help we can get.
DJ will probably pay for all the work, and not tell a soul about it.
Imagine how far the $150 billion + $400 million ransom money Obama gave to Iran would go in rebuilding the homes, schools, churches and hospitals for these folks.
Olive Gordan?? Did she tell Trump that when he's there, he's family???
Trump should challenge everyone to donate to the flood victims. That means everyone; Clinton, Obama, all the money flush politicians in DC, all the pundits. He should remind all the rich Manhattan elites that the country was there for them when the World Trade Center came down.
He already has made this disaster frontpage news; something the MSM and our President and Clinton wouldn’t do.
And one of his hitmen (Rudy, Perry) should remind people that Clinton used the Flint water crisis to win a primary election and then dropped them like a rock.
Watching some of the footage brought a bitty tear to my eye. When Trump says “we will rebuild” he knows of which he speaks. It always comes back to this... Trump is a builder. Quite literally, professionally, in every sense.
Point to Mr. Trump.
