EDGARTOWN, Mass. (AP) — President Barack Obama is unlikely to break from a New England vacation to survey flood damage in Louisiana, despite calls for him to visit and meet with responders and victims.
The White House insists Obama is not indifferent to the suffering of thousands who were washed out of their homes in the Baton Rouge and Lafayette areas of the state. At least 13 people have died as a result of the flooding, and at one point 11,000 were in shelters. That number has dropped as water levels have receded.

Now let’s be fair and objective. If you were a rooted Louisianan, who had just lost your home or farm to an incredible flood, would you want a demagogue, who was only accidentally an “American,” at all—and indeed one who had worked almost ceaselessly for 7 1/2 years to undermine you heritage;—to come visit your Parish for a photo op, at this time in your life?
I guess my main reason for posting the thread was to show the double-standard the media takes for a democrat and republican President.
Obama’s white half doesn’t care about blacks.
Nothing will make me feel he’s a good president. This is just another reason he sucks.
