“Outrageous Fortune,” with Shelley Long and Bette Midler

I saw that with my mom. Extremely funny.

His last words were “It really was about Al Gore.”

Good. What a sappy movie.

Al Gore and Tipper are deeply saddened. I expect to hear new revelations about the origin and provenance of the story from ALGORE.

Silver Streak was ruined for me by the movie previews they played just before the movie. They were for an upcoming movie I’d never heard about. After seeing THAT trailer, Silver Streak was a real disappointment.

Oh, the movie trailer was for Star Wars.

Love means never having to say you’re sorry.

Except, that is pure BS.

In a Hollywood that constantly pumps out remakes, one wonders why this one hasn’t been remade.

Oliver's Story was done as a sequel, but it bombed.

In Mr. Hiller’s defense, and considering the dreadful novel he had to work with, he was simply unable to make chicken salad out of chicken s#!+. Both the book and film are “WTF were we thinking?” embarrassments in an already stupid (platform shoes?) decade. A movie decade later saved by “The Godfather”, “Taxi Driver”, “Star Wars”, and “Patton”.

One of the great proofs that award season is complete crap. The only possible way Love Story could be one of the 5 best movies of the year is if there were only 5 movies released, and even then it shouldn’t be nominated.

Also The Sting and American Graffiti.

I took my kids to “Star Wars”, it was the last movie I ever saw in a Theater.

Yes, I recall making it about 1/3 of the way through that one.

I personally don’t think “Love Story” was as bad as some on here, apparently, do.
