First the Clinton press conferences and gaggles became rare. Now, the Trump campaign's foot-dragging in allowing a basic press pool - a group of reporters that share travel duty to cover public events and minimize the logistics burden on the campaign - has given Clinton cover to not institute a protective pool, which would cover the candidate's every move and ride on the campaign plane in the same way the White House press pool does and which typically begins when the candidates becomes the party's official nominee. ...The Trump campaign has lagged the Clinton campaign in organizing press planes and busses, and this week only had its second day of basic print pool reports, which came at the permission of the Trump campaign. It included the Associated Press, Bloomberg, the Daily Mail, Reuters and the Wall Street Journal. Banned publications (including Politico) are not allowed on the Trump press plane. ...
These busses and planes, however, are not the same as a protective pool that travels on the same plane as the candidate, gets more face time with senior staff, and is often let in for photo sprays in private events, such as fundraisers.
Jeff Mason, president of the White House Correspondents Association and a Reuters White House correspondent, said ... "We push for access because it's the public's right to know and it's our jobs as journalists to tell those stories and be there in order to tell them." ...
Washington Post's Anne Gearan, who is part of a team chairing the Clinton press pool for the remainder of the election ... [said] "There are certain institutional norms that are in place at the White House for the way press access is treated. Those are not by right or law, they are as a result of negotiations and custom over a considerable amount of time."
Gearan also said, "We're advocating for access for the Clinton press pool. Whatever Trump does is immaterial as far as we're concerned." How does that reconcile with the author's premise that "the Trump campaign's foot-dragging ... has given Clinton cover to not institute a protective pool"? If what Trump does is immaterial, then what Trump does (or doesn't) can't provide cover.
And The Politico Caucus (gravy train occupants) weighs in, "GOP insiders: Trump can't win." That headline sounds vaguely familiar, almost deja vu.
"Trump is underperforming so comprehensively across states and demographics it would take video evidence of a smiling Hillary drowning a litter of puppies while terrorists surrounded her with chants of 'Death to America,'" said an Iowa Republican.
Oh, and demonstrating their ability to deal with "nuance," the ever obtuse press tells its gentle readers, "Experts Reject Trump's Claim That Obama Founded ISIS." It's a good thing there are experts out there, otherwise I'm sure I would have taken Trump literally.

Oh, Mr. Trump has made the Clinton supporting media apoplectic over his ISIS remarks, just as we surmised yesterday.
This is not a Trump mis-statement, nor a throwaway line, nor a joke.
Not this time.
Remember, this is why we were transhipping arms from Libya to Syria in Benghazi, and why Obama kept denigrating ISIS as the JV team, to allow ISIS time to gain wealth
(selling oil through Trukey) and power as they were the agents of the installation of the Caliphate across the Middle East.
Clinton failed as SoS to get a force of arms agreement in Iraq before we withdrew—a monumental failure-—and Obama refused to take military action while ISIS flourished.
And let’s not forget that idiot McCain going over there and palling around with Al-Bagdadi, who Obama released from jail. And who also was pushing for ground troops to go to Syria for the “red line”.
So, Trump has brilliantly inserted a new topic in the national debate, and erased the Khan-job and the 2nd Amendment quip from the news.
But the combination of connecting the dots on Obama/Clinton/ISIS, perhaps some new emails from Wikileaks coming soon, the illegal linkage of the Clinton Foundation and the State Dept. investigations, plus the obvious and worsening problems with Hillary’s health, will begin to begin to improve the public perception of Trump from this point forward.
Remember to pray for Trump, Pence and their families.
As we often say here, this election is for all the marbles.
There are two very different visions of America being presented in 2016, which will lead to to two almost diametrically opposed destinies for our nation.
Our children and grandchildren will live two very different futures depending on our vote on Nov. 8th.
The globalist vs. nationalist, and elite vs. the people scenarios are definitely present.
But on another plane, there is a spiritual battle for America going on—it literally is good vs. evil, and light vs. dark, Satan vs. Jesus.
Yes, I am serious and I meant that last paragraph.
So, in our family, our neighborhoods,our workplaces and our places of worship, we have to help people to see the stakes, and why Trump is the one to vote for on November 8th.
More and more I see what a gift this fearless man is to our country, rough points and all.
And I realize that this is God’s chosen vessel to lead our country back to greatness and back to its role as a purveyor of goodness and freedom in the world.
And since my arms are too short to box with God, I will trust His judgment.
Time to close ranks and get this man elected.
The lives of all who we hold dear literally depends upon it.
I was watching the Fox News all stars last night. The first segment was his ‘outrageous’ statement about Obama founding Isis and the second segment was about the watered Dian intelligence reports about Isis.
Don’t they realize that the discussion in the latter segment proved the point in the former discussion? Do they not listen to themselves?

On Hannity last night, Oliver North explained precisely how the ISIS problem is the fault of Obama and Hillary. He gave a five-item, no-BS, list that makes it clear. It needs to be published in every paper, on every blog, on every social media site, and on TV ads.

Wall Street is pumping the Fed’s QE and investor’s enthusiasm into the markets to support Hillary. Interest rates on the 10-year bond are at all time lows. Everything is coming up roses so it seems, but underlying all of these seemingly wonderful financial/economic data are the issues Trump highlights with his foam board charts.
Trump will have his hands full as the liberal/progressive cartel leaves him with a financial/economic mess.....
