Melissa will do anything to feed her online-shopping addiction even if that means subsisting off a diet of microwaveable soup.
Ill eat only ramen in order to shop, she says.
The 34-year-old who works in sales at Red Wing Heritage, a leather goods brand, and asked that her last name not be used for professional reasons receives two to three packages a week at her East Village apartment thanks to her daily binges.
I love coming home and theres a package, she says. Its like theres a prize at my door.
Americans spent a record $341.7 billion on online purchases in 2015 more than double what they shelled out in 2010 according to the US Department of Commerce. And while shopaholics arent a new phenomenon, the ease with which one can buy online with same-day delivery sites such as Amazon Prime not to mention daily flash-sale e-mails and targeted advertisements has unleashed a whole new breed of addicts.

When my wife and I would take a long trip and she saw a UPS truck, she swore they were following me or looking for me to make a delivery.
I HAD to scale back my orders or get out!
I scaled back...alot.
Gotta commend you, if only for excreting that product in the short timeframe.
FR demands speed!
I work for UPS. People like this contribute to my income.
No. She will tax and raise taxes on purchases.
Yeah, there must be a zillion 34-year-old Melissas working in Sales at Red Wing Heritage...
I think that I likely found her full name and info and much more (NSFW) in less than two minutes, oops...
Was it worth looking for?

I’m rebuilding a car trailer. I went to several local shops to pick up parts only to find they had what they had but not what I needed. So I went online to purchase.
I was still unable to find a single-source to buy what I needed (bearings, wiring, lights, trailer light receptacles, etc) but I located exactly what I wanted - and at prices that beat the crap outta any local offerings. Eight separate purchases in all (plus new decking from the hardware store).

Where do they all come from?
All the lonely people
Where do they all belong?”
Excellent, my dear Watson. While I was reading your clever rewording, I was humming along in my brain. One of The Beatles best ditties and a great song choice by you for your remake. Aren’t words fun?
You can count on there being no fruit hanging so low that it won’t be picked.
Be careful on your wheel bearings.
Avoid the China stuff if possible, they have a bad quality record.
I even place my coffee order online. Usually, it tells me it will be ready in 3-7 minutes and the shop is eight minutes away. It’s ready and on the counter when I get there. It is awesome—I don’t have to talk to anyone, get impatient in the drive-thru, or be stuck behind someone who can’t quite decide what would make their order even more precious. Adds less than two minutes to my commute— and I seem to enjoy it more! Only thing that could make it better is if it was free and they had someone run it to my car the second I pulled into the parking lot!
You mean they don’t bring it to your car?
Why the very idea!
LOL
Hey, now that’s automation even as it is. Cool.
Hoarding. Unopened packages are a give away.
I was just reading about a new propblem GSA [Gender Sexual Attraction] = Incest.
A story of a mother and son who are having sexual relations. They are advocating for the public to accept GSA.
Once upon a time, it was unthinkable. But with today’s LGBT and gender idenity, it is possible it becomes legal.
Thanks.
That turned out easier than I anticipated. I was expecting to have to try to replicate based on specifications (spindle OD, bearing ID, etc). I removed a sample bearing and cleaned it up. In the process I was able to identify the bearing by both manufacturer (Timken) and a part number. The rest was just pounding away on the browser until I found the best search terms to find replacements.
Almost bought s stove at Sears. They wanted $50.00 to deliver. Got it online cheaper and with free delivery.
Late night TV, a bottle of Crown Royal and a credit card are not a good mix.
