WASHINGTON, Aug. 11 (UPI) -- The UPI/CVoter daily presidential tracking poll for Tuesday shows Hillary Clinton leading Donald Trump by 2.2 percentage points.
The online poll shows Clinton with 48.1 percent to Trump's 45.9 percent.

The thing that has leftists scared to death is that Trump almost always outperforms his polling on election day. If you go back and look at the primaries, he usually exceeded the polls by 2-5 percent. That is enough to swing an election. This is going to be a tight race, so hang on to your seatbelts.
Despite the way the drive-bys are trying to spin things, what have Trump’s “gaffes” got people talking about?
1) A Moslem shooter who killed people at a FL night club and his crazy dad.
2) Cankles’ desire to eradicate the 2nd Amendment
3) Zero and Cankles’ close association with the rise of ISIS
4) Clinton Foundation & E-mails
HEHEHEH.
The good thing is that folks are discussing whether Obama/hillary enabled or created ISIS. Nobody is even trying to claim that they aren’t responsible for what it’s become. The discussion as it’s framed is a lose/lose for hillary.
Online poll?.........pffft!..........
UPI is not worthless. All of the polls at RCP are two party polls. This is a great poll.
All belts firmly buckled :-) This will be as exciting as a roller coaster ride on the midway...ups, downs, curves, speed. Praying the rail car doesn’t fly off the track.
“I hope Trump can learn from all of this. If he does not fall into their traps, he comes off well.”
Exactly. When Trump is on message (Attacking Hillary for her corruption, Make America Great Again, talk about his tax plan, etc) he poll number rise. When he falls into these media/DNC created traps and controversies, he gets into trouble.....The last few days Trump has been on message and look! His numbers are up!
One difference between this election and the prior elections is that the “conservative” press and blogs have joined the mainstream media in seizing on any bad polling news to claim that Trump is in meltdown and is finished and that he’s going to drag Republicans in Congress down with him. After the Dem convention, a number of “conservatives” were looking at Hillary’s bounce in the polls and declaring the election over, just like the MSM. Now we see evidence that the race is settling back into a moderate lead for Clinton. The conservative press are such tools. So is the Republican Party for that matter.
illary’s manic rise in the polls has seized, making her depressed, and soon, her initials “hc” will no longer stand for “hillary clinton”. Instead, it will stand for “hillary convulsions”.
This is basically a tie, within the margin of error of the poll.
“Likely Voters”... that’s the key...
Trend is looking good for Trump. RealClearPolitics average is also trending positively for Trump.
The whole idea of polls moving is for us here, quite incomprehensible....yet....it does seem to be in some sense true out there.
How can one ever have scientific proof that polls do move around as much as reported unless one had a vote on those days.
They are statistically tied. Perhaps we should go the Czechoslovakia route and check back in 10 years.
Encouraging that Trump’s numbers are rising in spite of the onslaught of misrepresentation and plain old-fashioned hate-mongering against him in the press and culture......
Trumps comeback comes BEFORE HE SPENDS ANY MONEY ON TV!! I giggle when I think of ALL these polls the media is living and dying over. Trump hasn’t fired any large weapons yet.
Well, there you go.
“This poll is worthless because it fails to take into account the third party candidates.”
Good point. Both 3rd party candidates are taking away from Hillary more than Trump.
Heard Rush’s “montage” today of media whores lamenting that if Trump would stop “putting his foot in his mouth” they could spend more time highlighting Her Thighness’ shortcomings (emails, Benghazi, Clinton Foundation, etc.) REALLY??!? I swear the LSM is more full of you-know-what than all the port-a-pottys on Daytona Beach at the end of Bike Week.
