A few days ago in our Quick Hits feature, this Insurrectionist wrote “the server is a Sword of Damocles over Hillary’s campaign. Whatever the polls may say, Clinton knows that she is just one disclosure away from disaster.” Has Mika Brzezinski heard the hair holding that Sword start to fray? Today’s Morning Joe reported on the disclosure that a senior Clinton Foundation official had contacted close Hillary advisers Huma Abedin and Cheryl Mills to request, as something “very important,” that they set up a contact between a billionaire foreign Foundation donor and the US ambassador to Lebanon.
Reacting, Mika said “as a Clinton supporter, I think the bigger question is, what is going to come out? Could something big come out? Could we have implosion of epic proportions. Could you say that the candidate you support doesn’t have something lurking here that could bring down her campaign?”

Given that MSNBC and the Democrat Party are one and the same, we must conclude (not just assume) that this question is being asked in DNC HQ as well.
We can see the genesis of their next parry: “how dare you (DOJ / FBI / Judicial Watch / Trump / GOP / Breitbart / Drudge) impede the inevitability of our First Female President with this cheap innuendo!”

I think the key point will be in debate #1, where Trump says something to the effect that he’s bringing in a special prosecutor on day one....to review all these emails and the Clinton Foundation. Then he might glare at the camera and suggest that if any Senator or Represenative is connected to the Foundation or the favors involved....they will be dealt with in a professional but dramatic way.
At that point, I think Hillary’s unicorn will be finished off and she dropping a tear or two because someone is going to jail.

“How will these criminal actions by Hillary affect our nation?”
Democrats are Democrats first. Being an American is way down on their list.

If the MSM doesn’t report it 40 percent of the electorate doesn’t know or care about it.
Oh, I like that debate scenario.
When I look at Mika and that outfit, I see my aunt Irene in the kitchen around 1955 cooking ham and cabbage in the summer in the anthracite coal country of Pennsylvania.
Poland would throw her back.
They know what is in the emails. They know if there was truly damning stuff or not. And if there was, they are asking what the likelihood is of it being released.
Or there is nothing really damning, so they are not really worried. But that doesn’t seem to be how this is going down.
Methinks that’s why her VP is a largely unknown (no apparent baggage) with relatively right-leaning views (can siphon some of Trump’s support). If she drops out, he has a viable chance of winning by getting the sympathy vote _and_ the “hate both candidates” vote.
Hate to say it, but: if Hillary drops out, Trump loses.
When I read something like this I think two things;
1 - They need ratings
2 - She knows/has heard the truth and is terrified
I hope it’s more #2
