Poll problems. I'm not talking about adjustments made for improper questions or demographic sampling techniques, though those do tend to bias the poll results in favor of one particular candidate. (Guess who?) No, I'm talking about the folks actually sampled, specifically Registered voters vs. Likely voters.
Most are aware of the RCP rolling average poll and the famous chart showing Clinton cleaning Trump's clock (though not by as much as she needs to at this point in the electoral cycle

Media sponsored polls are meant to influence public opinion, not to measure public opinion.
The article in the media are biased and inaccurate. No one should anyone expect their polls to be different.
The only poll that matters will be taken Nov 8th. Anything prior to that is just a waste of time.
Another morning and more ominous polls.
Down 10 in Survey Monkey, down almost that much in PA and even the L.A. Times tracking poll isn’t much comfort today.
Praying Trump’s latent support is not being reflected.
Trump is hated by the establishment Republicans, and Paul Ryan, Speaker of the House, in particular.
D+6. Also, any poll without a 4 way race is not trustworthy.
He’s down, but not by much.
But Obama basically admitted that the election would be stolen. IIRC, a few days ago, he was commenting on Trump’s complaining about a rigged election. Obama said (paraphrase) ‘Now, if he’s ahead by 15 points in November and still loses, well that’s not even a reason to suspect the election was stolen’. The fix is in and we will have to be vigilant to make sure it is a clean election. Although, I am not sure how we will be able to guarantee that.
There showing the results of last week. I would wait until next week to see if her bounce stays(it won’t.)
And also, let's face it, it becomes very discouraging even to those of us who can reason and think through things, when you have a constant barrage of discouragement. That is how brain-washing works.
I took a statistics course in graduate school years ago, working on my MBA. It was one of the best classes I have ever taken and I remain skeptical of campaign polls and other statistical results to this day because of what I learned in that class.
A poll is made up of numbers and statistics are just a way to analyze those numbers. And one thing I learned in that class is that one can make those numbers say anything you want, depending on your viewpoint or agenda. Completely different outcomes arrived at from the same exact numbers.
So I would question, challenge and be skeptical of any poll results seen currently for this campaign. Groups and organizations are pushing these polls to influence the outcome.
Ignore the polls and vote your gut. Trump for President 2016 to Make America Great Again !
BTW, the title of the textbook for that class was How To Lie With Statistics
Depends entirely on who counts those votes, doesn't it? Polls have always been used to influence outcome not report on actual preferences. There is no way that there would be 20 point swings in 24 hours, if there is we are doomed to be ruled over by idiots anyway.
The 8th is meaningless due to early voting.
How many here have committed to taking friends (not just family) to the polls.
This is about turnout.
The polls have to be flooded.
