Night time rules! LOL! Been a night owl since birth and can’t change it. Tried years ago and gave up, only working night jobs.
I don’t have to get up until 10:30 the two days I have HQ duty and that’s not too bad. But it’s still earlier than I’d like. Gonna have to head for bed pretty soon. Just realized it’s 2 a.m. already. Yikes!

Ah, still using your old desktop? I thought you’d started using your new one already. Having to put all your stuff on it can be a deterrent, can’t it? LOL! Such a pain.
Maybe your computer guy can get your laptop running again so you don’t have to hassle with loading all your stuff on ANOTHER new one. We can hope!

Yes, it is! I got caught up in a “Murdoch Mysteries” show and forgot to look at the time. Sure glad I’m off tomorrow. Now if I can just get this cat to go outside, I’ll even get some sleep! LOL!

Been watching the Olympics most of the weekend.
Our gymnastic teams and
beach volleyball teams are awesome.
The USA bicyclist almost had the Gold.
Felt so bad for the Dutch cyclist who crashed
and got sent to the hospital.
A quick hello and then I'm off.
I'll be scarce most of the week.
Got behind on chores while grandkids were here,
plus have a 9 a.m. vet appointment for our older dog.
Plus, need to get back to writing business.
The first (annual?) "have the grandkids for a week" went well.
Much easier to handle them when they are 10 & 12
(they have iPads LOL).
Took them down for a visit with their great-grandmother/grandfather.
We went to pool two days while they were here
and out to dinner on Friday.
Tried to NOT plan too much running around
as they've had a busy summer.
Gotta run.
But please stay right where you are.
Chat up the military or a family member.
No need to fret...I'll get to pings soon.

((HUGS))Good morning, Beach. Just finished doing the grass cutting for this week with the lawn mower and the weed eater. How’s it going for you this morning?
Lynn-Dah and I went to my sister’s camper on the beach on the rocky New England coast(near Plymouth), and we sat out in the sea breeze all day. We had grilled salmon and Lynn-Dah got to lick the pan!
Then I drove my N. Carolina niece to the train station and got stuck on Rt 3, the only big road out of Cape Cod, with all the weekenders going back to Boston.
It was as if the entire cape had disgorged all of its cars onto Rt 3. A solid line of cars from Hyannis to Boston...70 miles!
It’s been 17 years...I forgot about “Cape Traffic” on a Sunday Evening!
Anyway, Lynn-Dah LOVED the beach, but the water was too cold.
I have a bunch of new songs for Pub Night. I am going to attempt Don Henley’s “Heart of the Matter”, which is tricky. Easy chords, but lots of lyrics, and very intense.
