Feeling the heat, establishment ramps up attacks on Trump

When the anti-aircraft fire intensifies, it's usually a sign that you're directly over the target. Various branches of the establishment -- Wall Street, the military-industrial complex, the media -- are now unleashing their arsenal on the Trump campaign.

Two of the most media-friendly Wall Streeters, Michael Bloomberg and Warren Buffett, have been trotted out to tell the working class what's good for them. This is the best anti-Trump attack that Wall Street can muster. You're supposed to be seduced by the fact that former New York City Mayor Bloomberg took the subway to work at City Hall alongside the rest of the proles and declined his mayoral salary, while ignoring the fact that he raised taxes and encouraged illegal immigration.

There are a lot of people who are doing well in this system who don't want things to change. Not just the über elites. Even lower level ex-gov't/military types doing very lucrative contracting work. I know a few of them who won't for Trump because he might upset the game. The whole system is rigged, I see up and close and personal everyday in my work.

Kinzinger is just another little weasel punk that has turned on those in Illinois that worked for and supported him, which put him in office.

You are correct. The greatest benefit of Trump this election season is that his candidacy has revealed how all of Washington, all of the media, all of the large business concerns - every nook and cranny of the American institutional establishment are all working for the same masters and ultimately on the same side. They have all been bought and sold. They seek to divide us - left vs. right, black vs. white; man vs. woman; young vs. old, all so we will be distracted and not notice they are stealing us blind and enslaving us.

The socialist message is extremely attractive to the lower intelligence, lower income class too - which is at least half the population. I'm not saying the cohort you describe is in that class. In fact, on the contrary! I'm just pointing out that the number of people invested in status quo is huge. The string pullers at the top, the ones in the middle who have been granted access to easy money (which buys stability for status quo), and the dependent class. They will vote for whoever keeps the gravy train running.

Universal suffrage is always fatal. We are in fact doomed. All we can buy are temporary reprieves.

She's doing this because she and her crowd think that they will have enough votes from a coalition of minorities, non-tax payers, government hand-out recipients, women who vote gender identity, and the pseudo-intellectual ‘higher education’ urban crowd to win without the middle class. They don't care about ‘all Americans’. They only care about the ones they need to get elected, and they obviously don't really care about them either.
