Notwithstanding his war-hero son’s genuinely patriotic example, Khizr M. Khan has published papers supporting the supremacy of Islamic law over “man-made” Western law — including the very Constitution he championed in his Democratic National Convention speech attacking GOP presidential nod Donald Trump.
In 1983, for example, Khan wrote a glowing review of a book compiled from a seminar held in Kuwait called “Human Rights In Islam” in which he singles out for praise the keynote address of fellow Pakistani Allah K. Brohi, a pro-jihad Islamic jurist who was one of the closest advisers to late Pakistani dictator Gen. Zia ul-Haq, the father of the Taliban movement.
Khan speaks admiringly of Brohi’s interpretation of human rights, even though it included the right to kill and mutilate those who violate Islamic laws and even the right of men to “beat” wives who act “unseemly.”
As Pakistani minister of law and religious affairs, Brohi helped create hundreds of jihadi incubators called madrassas and restored Sharia punishments, such as amputations for theft and demands that rape victims produce four male witnesses or face adultery charges. He also made insulting the Muslim prophet Muhammad a crime punishable by death. To speed the Islamization of Pakistan, he and Zia issued a law that required judges to consult mullahs on every judicial decision for Sharia compliance.
Khan, who says he immigrated to the U.S. in 1980 to escape Pakistan’s “military rule,” nonetheless spoke admiringly of Brohi in his review of his speech. He praised his remarks even though Brohi advocated for the enforcement of the medieval Sharia punishments, known as “hudood” (singular “hadd”), that were later adopted and carried out with brutal efficiency by the Taliban in neighboring Afghanistan.

I am tired of this subject in the news, but I only just came to know that Khan died in Service in 2004! By the emotions, grief fierce attacks, I though this had occurred only recently.
Somehow I’ve had the feeling all along that this guy probably didn’t support his sons decision to go fight for our country. Now there’s evidence that suggests that was probably the case. Of course the media won’t talk about any of this, unless of course Trump forces them to by talking about it.

Khan was interviewed on CNN at length tonight. Obviously he knows Sharia law. That does not mean he subscribes to it. In the interview, he makes no bones about it, the Constitution and Sharia are totally incompatible. But he also says (up to you if you believe him) that he supports the constitution, not Sharia.
I listened to this guy last night when he wanted Trump dragged into a room, close the door, and ‘set him straight’. Strange, since he’s alluded that is the type of behavior in a military Pakistan that caused him to run from Pakistan to Saudi and Dubai. Coupled with his performance tonite on Cooper Anderson, where he went on and on (and on and on) about being respectful, after Cooper asked him about the pay-for-visa program, I’ve concluded Mr. Kahn a first-class sharia fruitcake.
Revoke his US citizenship if he has it.
What a dirtbag standing on national TV waiving a document that he had to know wasn’t compatible with islam.
And is grounds for being striped of your nationalization.

Definitely one of the muslims Trump has been talking about: We don’t know who he is, he hates America, he’s GOT to go. He should be the first one Trump kicks out.
It was a classic Dem setup, and Trump fell for it. Doesn’t matter how crooked it is, it’s been the story for days now.
I hear you. But he strikes me as sincere, albeit misguided or misled as to Trump's intention and feeling. He's staked out a position where, if the Constitution and Sharia are in a contest, he would choose the constitution. I'm not saying he would stay there, but unlike many others, he does not say the two forms of law can co-exist. He was pretty harsh on Sharia in the interview. Didn't have a single good thing to say about it.

The ‘conservative’ talk radio hosts who’ve retained some amount of integrity really need to step up and get the facts out about Mr. Con.
Trump will once again look very good to any who learn the facts and have an open mind.
