U.S. spy agencies are preparing to deliver a classified briefing to Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, the nation’s intelligence director said Thursday, despite deep unease among many spy officials with the real estate mogul’s pro-Russian rhetoric.

National Intelligence Director James R. Clapper Jr. indicated that Trump and Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton are eligible to receive intelligence briefings within days of the conclusion of the Democratic National Convention.

The only ones more worried about Trump than Hillary are the ones who got their jobs for political affiliation.

It’s the Post. Just another PR firm for the DNC. This story is an utter lie.

Probably completely false. Media story to deflect from Hillary’s obvious security failings.

If Trump tells us what he finds out there could be hell to pay.

Don't expect the briefings he gets to include even a hint of the smell of dirty laundry.

The various agencies have been compromised for at least the last seven years, perhaps longer. The Snowden releases confirmed it.

It's not like the old days of the Cold War when we were all playing on the same team.

Intelligence agent: We are worried about Trump but scared $#!^less over letting Hillary know anything. Loyal agents will die by the dozens when the Russians, Chinese and ISIS tap her computers.

Washington Post: "We are worried about Trump."

The CIA has outlived its usefulness. Wouldn’t hurt to start all over. I know, we’d have 10 years we’d be playing catchup, but if it’s scorched earth, at least we’d get rid of all the moles in there now.

My first reply upon learning that Obama had figured out a way to take the WH in 2008.......now all our enemies will know all our secrets. I bet they didn’t bank on our ‘enemies’ knowing all THEIR secrets, too. Silly Democrats.

In the 1990’s, the Clintons traded our nuclear secrets to China in exchange for campaign contributions.

But no one in the media gives a rat’s ass about that, do they?
