On Tuesday, Black Lives Matter activists took to the streets in Philadelphia to protest police-involved shootings of African-Americans.
During the demonstrations, protesters attempted to segregate members of the media based on their race.
"White media get to the back! Black media come to the front!" one activist shouted into a megaphone.

These dumbed down young adults firmly believe they are enlightened and that anyone who deviates from the consensus is staggeringly ignorant. I work with some 18 - 28 year olds and when an older coworker tried to explain his views the young ones asked how anyone could be so ignorant.
Facts are dismissed out of hand as “wrong opinion” and their feelings and leftist talking points are elevated as obvious truths. None of them have a college degree while mine is, I’m ashamed to admit, Environmental Science (I’ve changed since college) and I worked in that field prior to staying home to raise my children. Yet when they found out I don’t buy into global warming nothing in my background mattered, despite my credentials in that area. I was politely dismissed as an ignorant fool who doesn’t get it.
They get angry when anyone suggests we might face violence from the many recent Muslim immigrants and they firmly believe police officers target black men for death without cause.
There is no thirst for truth or desire to know all the facts before reaching a conclusion.
Yup. We're going through that in my homestate. Our teacher's pay is "ranked at the bottom" or "near the bottom" or "low-ranked", depending on which set of statistics is tortured for the article.
I point out, occasionally, that in my state if teachers worked for 12 full months, instead of 9-1/2, then their average salary would translate to a little over 70K/year. Plus (excellent) benefits. Not too shabby, but it puts me on the other side of Atilla the Hun.
"Teachers work nights and weekends grading papers!", like no one in the private sector ever works OT. "Teachers work through lunch!" ... yeah, me too. "Teachers occasionally need to work at school functions, they can't leave the school during the day", and on and on ad nauseum. Most teachers have massive inferiority and persecution complexes. Sez me, when I have a job that I don't like, I find a different one. Nobody has a gun to teacher's heads forcing them to come to class.... yet.
About the only thing that we agree on is that schools can do away with the massive bureaucratic administrative bloat. That'd find plenty of money to pay them extra..... but it ain't gonna happen.
And what would have happened to any white media that refused to move to the back?
I guess none were tough enough to refuse.

We are doing our best to counter their votes:six children and the teenagers are firmly in the pro life, pro guns and pro freedom camp. Hopefully the younger kids will follow in their footsteps.

The tragic thing is, he will always be seen as the first Black president. My sympathy goes out to those who will be denigrated by it.
I’m embarrassed enough just knowing he’s representing me on the world stage, and I’m not Black.

I don’t know what’s more shocking ... that this “lady” said this, or that the media complied. Yeah, there was some hesitation at first, but watch as they all start shuffling around. Pathetic.
Me, too. But the mental mushiness of so many family members, friends and coworkers is hard to deal with. I’m cutting ties with some, after attempts at reasoned discussions, because I just can’t take their junkthought anymore.

All your words describe all older Leftists, too. A relative was visiting two weeks ago and, unfortunately for her, I had FoxNews on when she walked into the kitchen. When the BLM march, where they were shouting ‘what do we want, dead cops, when do we want ‘em, now’, came on the TV, she emphatically claimed those weren’t real BLM marchers. Ok, then WHO ARE THEY? She also wouldn’t hear that blacks commit a higher percentage of the crimes and that’s why more blacks are in jail. Dems don’t want to think that statement isn’t political, it is a statistic. They simply cannot accept any truth that conflicts with their preconceived notions. There are a whole lot of Dem sheeple in this country, young and old.
What do you think it is going to be like when white people are in the minority?

My husband is on business in Minneapolis today. He had to take the train from the airport to his hotel.
He said every train was jam packed with run of the mill dindus, Somalis, Muslims and fat white chicks with one of the former. He kept having to wait for the next train because he said he wasn't getting on any of 'em. (and he's got some swarthiness to him). Finally an empty one came.
