Moscow (AFP) - The Kremlin on Tuesday dismissed allegations that Russia was behind a hack of the Democratic National Committee's emails as absurd, mocking what it called obsessive references to Russia in the US presidential campaign.
"This absurd news was immediately refuted by the family of the well-known presidential candidate," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told journalists, referring to Trump's eldest son, Donald Trump Jr.
"We are still seeing attempts to obsessively use the topic of Russia during the US electoral campaign," Peskov complained.
"Unfortunately Russia is being used in the electoral campaign in the US. Unfortunately this traditional game is continuing.
"We think that's not very good for bilateral relations but we understand that we need to get through this unfavourable period."

For all we know, Hillary probably has Putin in her group contact and just hits “reply all” to every email she gets.
“The same Democrats who are adamant that the Russians hacked the DNCs email server are the same Democrats who insist theres no way the Russians could have hacked Hillarys private email server.”
Excellent point! There’s a lot of irony in this situation.
My primary suspect would be someone in the US intelligence community. Someone who thought,”If it’s OK for Hillary to put top secret national security information on the Internet, it should be OK to put DNC emails on the net.”
Last night I watched the news from Washington, the capitol
The Russians escaped while we weren’t watching them
like Russians will
Now we’ve got all this room, we’ve even got the moon
And I hear the U.S.S.R. will be open soon

The Russians are being put in the position of the unknown Internet film-maker of Benghazi (boy did he go down the rabbit hole quietly).
But the Russians a much too big game for the stupid Democrat machine.
I am impatient. I want the Clinton Foundation E-mails and I want them before the “Roll Call of the Snakes” tonight.
Cause and effect. We see the e-mails, we are living the results. Busted.
Ukraine wouldn't be happy with a statue to Russia in their harbor.
It's the least we could do if they come through with the goods.
FoxNews has an “expert” on (Morgan Wright) who confidently asserts the breach was sophisticated and could only be perpetrated by a nation-state. Pure speculation passed off as news.
It was the Russians.

They blame the Russians, because their studies indicate that if they blame Goldstein not enough people would know who that is.
The real truth, probably, is that their security is so poor and amateurish that an eleven-year-old in his mom's basement hacked them in between bites of his twinkie. If you're gonna get pwned, it should be by a supervillain, not somebody's geeky kid brother.
Preibis is right, though - no matter who stole 'em, you still wrote 'em, right?
The Democrats are in the position of the unfaithful husband, knowing more steamy photos of his trysts are to be released.
So he claims, sputtering, that his privacy was invaded.
“Who did this!?”
Extra butter. Focus!
OK, I am on vacation so I will go out with the Pups and hike today...
“Of course they are not going to admit it.”
On the other hand, hasn’t anyone else beside me thought that this business that the “Russians did it” because ALL the hallmarks left behind OBVIOUSLY point to the Russians was simply disinformation deliberately left behind to throw investigators off the scent of the real perps? I mean really, if the damn Russians are THAT sophisticated at cyber spying, then why would they leave behind obvious markers obviously pointing to themselves?
“The same Democrats who are adamant that the Russians hacked the DNCs email server are the same Democrats who insist theres no way the Russians could have hacked Hillarys private email server.”
+1
The democrats are evil, and some or many of them are also stupid, but the ones saying this are GD liars.
They KNOW Russia or Trump has NOTHING to do with their emails.
They’re just like the little kid, whose hand caught in the cookie jar, insists to their Mom they didn’t do nothing!
Blatant liars who are hoping (and with apparent good reason) that some stupid, or enough stupid American voters will fall for it.
Also, the press reporting this are also GD Liars, but even worse. They attempt to wear the clothing of impartiality, when it is obvious how firmly their collective lips are suction-cupped on to the democrats collective ass.
SCREW YOU DRIVEBYS!!!
I hope EVERYONE’S take-away on this is your biased, never-ending lies for the democrat party.
KISS MY A$$!
Heh, heh, heh.
These Democrat girly-men are no match for Vladimir.
Kerry infamously stated yesterday that the greatest threat to America are our air conditioners and refrigerators. Meanwhile he issued a stern warning to North Korea: don’t terrorize South Korea, or else.
I don’t think there’s any Russians
And they’re ain’t no Yanks
Just corporate criminals
Playing with tanks

Amazing how all of those 80s anti-Reagan songs, actually make more sense today.
If they hacked them, wouldn’t they have more value if they held them rather than let them out?
“The Russians or whoever would have no reason to hack into the democrat email servers if there was nothing illegal or unethical going on there, but as it turns out the democrats are just a bunch of crooks.”
Exactly.
They probably tried to hack into the RNC’s emails - and security was too tight or there was nothing to use. Nah, I’m sure the RNC tried the same crap against Trump, but Republican voters were too smart to fall for it.
Besides, who would the Russians want as our leader - a weak liberal who will keep the status quo or a strong America-first leader who will reshape trade deals and quit our being taken advantage of? The Soviets sure would’ve rather dealt with Carter than Reagan, and these choices have to seem similar.
