DONALD J. TRUMP, until now a Republican problem, this week became a challenge the nation must confront and overcome. The real estate tycoon is uniquely unqualified to serve as president, in experience and temperament. He is mounting a campaign of snarl and sneer, not substance. To the extent he has views, they are wrong in their diagnosis of Americas problems and dangerous in their proposed solutions. Mr. Trumps politics of denigration and division could strain the bonds that have held a diverse nation together. His contempt for constitutional norms might reveal the nations two-century-old experiment in checks and balances to be more fragile than we knew.
Any one of these characteristics would be disqualifying; together, they make Mr. Trump a peril. We recognize that this is not the usual moment to make such a statement. In an ordinary election year, we would acknowledge the Republican nominee, move on to the Democratic convention and spend the following months, like other voters, evaluating the candidates performance in debates, on the stump and in position papers. This year we will follow the campaign as always, offering honest views on all the candidates. But we cannot salute the Republican nominee or pretend that we might endorse him this fall. A Trump presidency would be dangerous for the nation and the world.
Why are we so sure? Start with experience. It has been 64 years since a major party nominated anyone for president who did not have electoral experience. That experiment turned out pretty well but Mr. Trump, to put it mildly, is no Dwight David Eisenhower.

Of course, his company is global, so he is experienced at thinking globally.
He will have to instruct our embassies to carry out his foreign policy doctrines and trade missions.
He will have to work with our overseas military bases and naval fleets as he rebuilds our military, including NATO.
There is enough "global organizational planning" to keep Trump busy just to focus on making America great again.

We are a Representative Republic with defacto Universal Suffrage.
We have devolved into a Democracy.
Only disenfranchisement of the parasite clas can save us now.
Remember, democracy never lasts long.
It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself.
There never was a democracy yet that did not commit suicide.

The WP offered me a one year subscription via Amazon for a dollar.
I told them to go jump off a bridge.
ENEMEDIA ON BORROWED TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The ComPost ranting again?
I really wish everyone would cancel their subscriptions.
Understanding this would require that someone on the Washington Post read and comprehend that pesky old constitution that they accuse Mr. Trump of not understanding.
The Compost rants are good things—we want the enemies of liberty to identify themselves.
WHO reads the Post??? Just the same Lib/Commie readers that have always read i
“Donald Trump is a unique threat to American Democrats” FIXED!!!
... His contempt for constitutional norms ...
Had to stop there. Obama urinates on the Constitution daily.
The Washington Post/NY Slimes are unique threats to Americans, for over a century.
And you at the ComPost have earned and fully deserve every snarl and sneer directed your way!
Yup, originally included that one in my post, then decided two was too many.
