Luntz was at the RNC all week with a focus group of voters. When asked by Hannity about Trumps speech, Luntz said
Sean, I want to show you first the highest moment of Donald Trumps speech, because it was the highest moment of anything in this convention in the four days and it specifically spoke about corruption and both Republicans, Independent [and] Democrats dialed it through the roof!
When asked about the speech, one Independent focus group member said I came into this #NeverTrump. Im 39 years old. Thats the best speech by a Presidential candidate Ive heard in my entire life!
Another member who came in to the week backing Bernie Sanders said,
I am now Donald Trump. I feel patriotism. I feel completely safe. I felt this love of country. And with a leader like Donald Trump, ok, who believes in the people, the chaos in this country will turn to unity!
DC has 6 of the 10 richest counties in the country surrounding it. They are looting the rest of the country.
the chaos in this country will turn to unity!

Pie in the sky. Democrats will always be disrupting, anti Americans. Muzzies will always be muzzies, black racists will always be black racists.
Trump knows part of the problem; he understands the donors and supporters. But I’m not sure he yet knows how treacherous the bureaucratic denizens of Washington really are and where the rivers of money flow. You’ll just have to trust me on this one. I’ve been in the swamp.
He’s up 20 (!!!) among indies in NH. To get a tie in the latest poll there, they had to undersample indies badly.
It looks like a “Throw the Bums Out!” election might be shaping up - which could be a wave.
People want a new broom to sweep clean.
We sure need it, with this out of control debt and spending. Somethings got to give.
AT&T uverse set up separate channels to show gavel to gavel coverage of both convention feeds with no talking heads. It was wonderful.
But as it became apparent Trump was the real deal, we have been 100% Donald Trump. The biggest problems we face, only Trump has taken on. He's been the only one fighting Political Correctness, as well.
He's not your normal candidate, but he's our very best option for this time.
Actually, he's probably our best option because he's not “your normal candidate.”
What’s wrong with people? Obama just told us it’s morning in America (and the world).
The status quo is great - unlimited immigration (cheap labor express), trade agreements that shortchange American workers (those greedy bastards), cozying up to Islamists (they can be used as tools to further our interests, don’t you know), racial conflict (takes peoples’ minds off the fact they haven’t received a raise in ten years), relations at a breaking point with Russia (gosh dang-it, lots of money to be made from manufacturing complicated, advanced weapons systems - not like those diddly squat tools used to fight terrorists) - who could ask for anything more?
Those poor, benighted Americans supporting that rascal Trump - they are so ungrateful.
I can’t believe Hannity/fox still has sweaty boy luntz on. There were a lot of high pints in the convention. The calling out of the MSM and Political Correctness by multiple speakers followed by today’s news of wikileaks DNC/MSM connection is a YUGE game changer. I wouldn’t want to be in Philly next week. Bernie’s supporters are pissed. I think a good % of them are going to vote Trump just to spite the DNC.
His own plane? WOW - takes your breath away... Way to go Trump.
Well and truly stated.
So folks don’t have to play ‘click bait’:
Highest Rated Moment of RNC: When Trump Said Corruption Has Reached a Level Like Never Ever Before in Our Country
The Fox Video link from GatewayPundit is excellent & highly recommend for anyone who did not see Fox coverage following Thursday night convention close. Frank Luntz focus group comments are very insightful.
What’s the root of all evil again?
Government workers are just the "useful idiots" part of the equation. Small, but necessary, cogs in a big wheel.
Too young to remember Reagan's speech. 36 years later and I still remember the warm glow I felt from hearing it.
Who on this site is going to watch Hillary’s speech??????
It would be an interesting speech if she goes into a seizure
Certainly not me. I can't stand the sound of her grating voice. Besides, if I want to listen to a bunch of lies, I'll go down to the river and listen to the fishermen talk about the one that got away.
YES! We were very pleased with C-SPAN coverage.
I watched it all on Cspan too. I enjoyed it and now miss the convention!
