What Im starting to sniff in the zeitgeist today is that Trumps kids are totally changing what people think of the father. People are making the semi-rational assumption that anyone who can raise such good kids must be very different in private than he is on the campaign trail...
A large number of voters Im guessing about 20% of the public want to support Trump but find it impossible because of the way he has so far presented himself. His brand is too toxic. So people lay low and wait for a fake because so they can throw their support to him. The Trump kids are the fake because that people needed. Were seeing people say stuff like this:
The way the Trump kids turned out speaks volumes for the father.

Does she use tube socks for a bra? That’s really weird looking. 36 longs?
The MSM and the Clinton Criminal Enterprise is going to go after them and try and destroy them.
I think they will be pulling just as big crowds as their Dad at rallies and that is going to activate the slim machine.
_______________
It will not work. The Trump machine knows how to soak up media. Hillary wants to avoid it at all costs. They have a big competitive advantage. If she spends $20 million in ads, the Trumps go and get $40 million in free media.
That is a huge competitive advantage and don’t think the Clinton donors are not noticing a la Jeb Bush.
Pence said “ you can’t fake great Kids”
Oh, Wow! Two gifs sure do PROVE it, don’t they? /s
Whatever cruzbot.
How in the world do you get in and out of those? Makes me cringe!
They’re likeable and the Trump kids are adult children with careers and marriages and they don’t look the stereotypical image of rich kid snobs with a trust fund.
So people can relate to them and every one wishes their kids were like them. And that helps make Trump seem more personable.
His best asset is his family.
That is a very interesting point when thinking about Romney. Romney's wholesomeness is engineered or contrived. With the Trumps it's different and I can't say why. There is truer wholesomeness about a man who can say that islam is bad and countries need borders which we would never hear from Romney or a Bush. Yet Romney and Bush would theoretically wield the evangelical vote.
After 8 years of dowdy, weird, trampy, I am craving the poise & attractiveness of the Trump clan. Maybe they’ll help restore a certain social/fashion sense to the White House.
His mother was not a citizen at the time of his birth, he is not a natural born citizen.
Those are $945 shoes (not including tax) at Neiman Markup.
Very classy with black leather pants and blue toe nails.
It’s the blue toe nails that make it work.
I admit that I never paid much attention to Donald Trump or his family, beyond the occasional tabloid story. I noticed some years ago that Invanka Trump had a line of clothing and accessories, but I had hardly ever heard of her and assumed that she was a sort of Paris Hilton spoiled rich girl who fancied herself an entrepreneur and had daddy buy her a company to put her name on. Boy, was I wrong! This election season has introduced me to the whole family, and I am favorably impressed! Maybe I’ll go buy those Invanka Trump shoes I’ve had my eye on for some time now....
Thank you, that is so good to hear.
“With the Trumps it’s different and I can’t say why.”
We got the answer from Don Jr. His dad brought them into the business and used good people from differrent class level to mentor them. (People with pHds in “common sense”). It helps to learn to drive a D10 tractor too, but to say that you are as comfortable in this as your own car? These kids got the education of their life. And it came from their Dad and Mom.
As a aside, my Dad tried to do the same. I had a hammer in my hand before I finished high school. I was also a Scout (Eagle). My father would have loved for me to follow in his footsteps and join his family business (Real Estate development), but he did not provide the right kind of leadership. I learned to admire his values, but my jobs were not the type to teach me the business. Our home life was cratering and he was away at work too much. I did learn how to use tools and will benefit from this forever. I also respect my father immensely and am proud of what he tried to do for me. However, I moved in other directions and while he supported me, I also feel that he felt let down that I did not take his advice and help him develop Real Estate.
What Trump did was incredible, and very unusual. How many Dad’s have wished to develop their family to the same extent?
Given the fact that we have had Obama as president for eight years, I doubt this would be much of a problem.
Last I checked, Canada is not a US territory, nor a US military base.
There is no legal standing for him to be a US citizen.
Ironically, if his mom slipped across the border from Alberta into the US to give birth, Cruz WOULD be a citizen.
I'm not crazy about the facts of Cruz's citizenship, but it *is* the law.
I'll forever be somewhat "suspicious" of Obama's citizenship, but I think he is legal.
I'm not crazy about that, either, but that's the law, too.
I was talking about Donald Trump, Jr, and Lurkinanloomin replied that since his mother was not an American citizen at the time Jr. was hatched, he was not a "native born citizen".
But Jr. certainly "was" BORN in the US, in Manhattan, no less, and his dad was definitely a citizen. So he was certainly a "natural born citizen". Both parents were not citizens, so "native born" might not be the case.
But he is at least as much and probably more of a citizen than B.O. Plenty.
I was going to mention the same thing about Chelsea’s shoes. They are at least $700. You can get a quality pair of black pumps for $75 but they don’t have the red sole. If she didn’t care about money she would have bought a nice pair of $75 Cole Haans Hypocrite of the first order
“Whatever cruzbot.”
Huh? I am a Trumper all the way but I do believe as RR said, “Never say an unkind word about a fellow Republican”! ;-)
Would you please admit that two gifs do not define anyone or anything?
