It’s called self immolation. July 20th 2016 will go down in Cruz family history as that moment when Ted Cruz detonated his career suicide belt and created the #NeverCruz movement.
Forget the non endorsement, that’s not the issue. Senator Cruz had a remarkable opportunity, he blew it. Cruz accepted an invitation to speak to the GOP convention then insulted the audience. Cruz couldn’t rise above his own brutal ego and petty selfishness. The arrogance simply went too far, he humiliated himself in front of millions.

Now in retrospect, it is easy to see why there were problems in the Ctuz family. I had considered him a steadfast conservative on life and religious freedom, but he now seems neither steadfast nor conservative but petty and vain.
After this - anyone who can’t see that this guy is a weasel , phony , fraud & scumbag is BEYOND redemption .
I don’t get it; if Cruz was not there to endorse Trump, then why was he there? It is not about Cruz. Does he not get that? The country is at stake.

IMO this was the begining of a Ted Cruz write in campaign. He is going to try to garner enough votes in the Midwest to stop Trump. Heven wants Hillary elected so he can run against her in 2020.
Ted Cruz chose poorly tonight.
On the other hand, he might standing in his hotel room right now, muttering "I should have ended with, you won't have Ted Cruz to kick around anymore."
He “could have been a contender,” but he blew it.

You’re probably right. But I don’t think he’ll get enough write in votes to make a difference. People are seeing him for what he really is. He’s as evil as Hillary and, as my wife says, like Bill Clinton, he hides behind a Bible.
