Texas senator admits Trump again got the better of him
At the key moment of Ted Cruzs remarks here Wednesday, from the heavens appeared a reminder that the Texas senators big speech to supporters this week was being delivered on the outdoor patio of a bar and not inside the convention hall.
In an amazing campaign field of 17 talented, dynamic candidates, we beat 15 of those candidates, Mr. Cruz said. We just didnt beat 16. Our party now has a nominee.
The crowd booed. But it wasnt because Mr. Cruz was reminding them of his defeat they were pointing to the sky, where a plane emblazoned TRUMP, set on a landing course at Clevelands lakefront airport.
Mr. Cruz turned to see the commotion. He had to admit, Donald Trump had gotten the best of him again.

She did go for a clinch and maybe could have held on, but she didn't have position and almost takes another elbow and a backfist.
She's plucky, no doubt about it, but that was ugly. She's just not at his weight.
It’s a shame Cruz doesn’t believe in omens cuz that sure seems like one ....
When did this speech happen? I was wathing Fox who has Megyn Kelly on at the time so it was around 9:15 and she said Rubio and Cruz coming next but then someone else was speaking and I left for a half hour. By that time Cruz was done and they were waiting for Eric Trump.
The Cruz rally interrupted by Trump’s jet was earlier in the afternoon. The later RNC speech was right before Eric Trump.
Cruz didn’t beat anybody. In a race where there is only one winner, everyone who lost are losers. Under Cruz’s logic I guess Kasich beat 14 other people just by staying in the race
Next time Cruz try again, I highly doubt he be in the top tier.
Faced with this reality,
A Man looks beyond Oneself.
Cruz ,little, spoiled, child.
I'm wondering when he got his US citizenship.
Cruz’ comment, “Gotta admit, that was well orchestrated”. Never imagines who might have orchestrated it though. Did he not have his Bible in hand at this time?
