Bob Dole, the 1996 GOP presidential nominee, said he's disappointed in Jeb Bush for sitting out the Republican National Convention.
Dole, who initially endorsed Bush for president before the former Florida governor dropped out, said he should unite behind the party and support presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump.

Another viagra and he’ll be happy again.
Sorry, I like Dole but I couldn’t resist.
He probably couldn’t find it.
No reason to apologize. That’s actually pretty funny!
Yeb!’s wife must be disappointed in his “low energy”
Jeb puts himself above the larger good of the country. He’s showing his true colors.
He signed a pledge and told millions he would support the candidate. Jebito is not Christine or conservative, loser forever.
He won’t be missed. That’s for sure.
To think of Bushes voting for Hillary is nauseating. Jeb has cemented his irrelevance.
Jebbers thought he had the gig all sewn up with his big money buddies in tow until Trump stole his candy. Too bad Yebbers— should have saved Terri Schiavo. Step aside RINO Bushie.
Despite what anyone can say about the limpness of Dole, I always valued his exit from the lead Senate position to run for President. It showed commitment.
In addition, this man was grievously wounded in WWII combat always acted honorably, even if for the wrong appeasing reasons.
Is Bob Dole still alive? He must be about 150.
I’m disappointed in the entire Bush family for encouraging the invasion from south of the border and calling us bigots for objecting to fraudulently documented foreigners stealing us blind.
We know the feeling, Senator. We were disappointed with Jeb failing to protect Terri Schiavo.
Whoever signed the pledge and reneged should be drummed out of the party.
The mask has been pulled off of these asswipes. I will never vote for an emasculated member of GOP Inc ever again.
Bob Dole was a true war hero. He gave far more of himself in service to his country than most of us will ever be called upon to do.
That does not, however, make him immune to criticism for any of his actions as a politician later in life. I thought he was a mediocre Presidential candidate who got the nomination primarily because it was his turn, much like Hillary is getting the Democrat nomination now.
I am glad that he is stepping up and supporting our candidate now.
Good for Dole!
Then along came Donald Trump. They were caught flat-footed. They had their world turned upside down. I don't blame them for hating Donald Trump. He wrecked their world and their dreams. And quite possibly, Donald Trump has saved America. We shall see.
It’s the REPUBLICAN convention not the DEMOCRAP convention, thus why a Democrap operative like Yeb! isn’t going.
