Pence to me looks like a big dumb guy. After hearing him speak, he’s actually very intelligent and will be a huge asset to trump.

Nia-Malika Henderson says Pence looks presidential, and people seeing him for the first time may wonder why Pence is not at the top of the ticket. Thought his presentation was quite good, especially in contrast with Trumps. Wondering if Pence will be on a short leash.

I’ve got to say I’m impressed also. Very likable guy. Very impressive background, sounds like he’s had some great successes which naturally makes him a good match for The Donald. Got to beat Hillary. Got to win this election. Trump has to be president, has to be! Trump/Pence 2016!!

Yes, Trump IS good at picking people. My confidence level in Trump’s chances, which I have always thought are incredible, just jumped with his choice of Pence and their perfect introduction—both are hitting on all cylinders today.

The contrast with Crooked Hillary could not be more stark.
Paul Begala pans the speech as completely undisciplined, bad lighting (notes that he does this for a living). The one thing that united the Neanderthals and Cromagnons in the GOP is “anti-Hillary” (yes, he said something line that)
