New Trump-Pence logo gives some people the giggles

Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has a new campaign logo that's giving some people the giggles.

The logo was released Friday as Trump announced his running mate, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence.

Whereas I don’t think the logos I saw are that great, I would not have thought of this interpretation.

I see the image of a face in the design. The smile is between the break in the downward leg of the “T”.

And it was pronounced a “two pee” piece. When I was visiting Scotland some time back, the public restrooms at train stations, airports, etc. charged 2p to use the restrooms...or 2p to pee. Brits have a great sense of humor and we thot’ it was funny at the time, and probably meant..

That would be pronounced “thrup-ence” or a thrup-ny bit. The old coinage started with a farthing (10 made a penny), then a halfpenny (pronounced hape-ny, then a penny, then a thrupenny, then a sixpence (brides would put a sixpence in their shoe for luck on their wedding day), then a shilling (which was 12 pennies), then a 2 shilling piece, then a 2 shilling and sixpence piece, after that paper money (ten shillings, a pound, etc).
