Also being reported that the withdrawal paperwork for Pence was signed and dated by Pence yesterday. Would appear the initial leaks were correct. Suppose Trump leaked it purposely to get some free media time? If not, he has some loose lips somewhere.

Part of me feels like he could have held as serious a news conference as could be. Safe choice may be the right one at this point.

Hillary is imploding. The Comey non-referral has her in a tailspin, and I doubt she has the political skills to pull out of it. Trump just needs to look Presidential so most of the mushy middle finds him an acceptable alternative. Pence helps him I think in this regard.
