Reports surfaced on Thursday afternoon that presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump picked Indiana Gov. Mike Pence as his vice president (VP).

“As Trump narrowed in on his choice of Pence, the two men spent time at both Trump’s golf resort in New Jersey in early July and at the Indiana governor’s mansion this week,” Roll Call notes, citing an anonymous Republican source for the report.

The New York Times and CBS have also reported the pick is Pence.

However, the Trump campaign is denying this is true.

1/2 A decision has not been made by Mr. Trump. He will be making a decision in the future…

Pence would be the Republican version of MAMBY-PAMBY, milktoast Joe Biden. Blech. That said I will still support TRUMP.

His votes are good. But there’s that pesky issue of letting illegals go back, then return swiftly back to the jobs the stole from Americans.

But I’m told that was more political playing and will learn more shortly, I hope, things like that never sound good and make politicians seem like liars when they try to explain them.

Thanks for posting the Yes/No votes on Pence. From that he sounds pretty good. If he is against trannies in public toilets then he’s got my vote but I’m still holding out for West.

Supposedly alot of people don’t like Trump either but he is going to be our next CIC.

Palin is a maverick just like Trump and I can see them working very well together and in 8 years be ready for the presidency. I can only dream because I’m just one vote.

exactly as i expected.

only Trump knows who he’s gonna pick; it’s the ONLY way to prevent links, and Trump is a VERY smart guy.

Yeah, that poll pool by Fox was only 601 registered (not likely) voters.

So while it isn’t worthless, it probably needs more solid verification before we put a lot of stock in the results.

I don’t care who it is...I’m voting for Trump, not the VP pick.

Aren't they all citing the same article which cites an unnamed source?

Or, does Reuters cite their own sources on this?

That’s been up for awhile and is old news. Nobody was called. Down to 3. I thought it was Pence, too, but now think not.

Fox is now saying that Pence is abandoning his re-election bid to be Trump’s VP.

Reuters and Fox will generally not run with a story based on sourcing by others. They need to confirm, not just go with hearsay. That’s basic journalistic practice. Drudge, OTOH, will link to another source. But in this case he seems to have satisfied himself.

I wanted an outsider but of the candidates, I like Newt the best - flawed maybe, but who isn’t?

I think Trump should consider a new VP in four years with a long-term view of a guy, preferably and outsider, smart businessman type with a fire in his gut, who is ready, willing, and able in 2024 to walk into the WH and lead the effort to DISMANTLE the 80%+ unconstitutional central government.

WHEN IT IS ALL DONE AND SAID!!!!

This all comes down to ONE... yes 1 source... which has not been verified (as far as I can see reported)... and Drudge jumped on it??????

Others say multiple sources... but can only be traced back to 1 unverified source!!!

BOGUS, I TELL YA... I SAY BOGUS.... BS.
