A week before the GOP nominating convention, Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) made clear he disagrees with presumptive presidential nominee Donald Trumps plan to deport 11 million undocumented immigrants.
I dont agree with that. I dont think rounding up 11 million people A) is the right thing to do, B) would work, Ryan said during a CNN televised town hall event. And I dont think youd like to see what wed have to do to the country to do that.
Ryan and Trump represent two different camps in the Republican Party on the issue of immigration.
Trump is a hardliner whos called for building a wall along the southern border and deporting everyone in the country here illegally. Ryan has pushed for immigration reform legislation during his congressional career, though he believes the country first needs to secure its border.
I think you have to secure the border, you have to have reforms that get people out of the shadows and get right with the law and make sure while you are securing the border, you are fixing whats broken in the legal immigration system, said Ryan, the GOPs 2012 vice presidential nominee.
That to me is an approach that makes sense and it wont require a round-up or mass deportation.
Ryan will talk talk talk about border security and push push push for amnesty.
Once amnesty is passed, border security will be defunded and forgotten.
We have seen it all before.

Absolutely!
He says they can't round up 11 million people, yet they want to seize the guns from 300 million. Go figure.
Rita, I don’t think these idiot politicians even yet realize that Trump is NOT a politician.....
If they block something that he knows will help America and the American people, he will go on national TV and announce what he’s doing and announce exactly WHO, by names, are blocking the help to us...he won’t sit back and say, “Well, I tried...” like most “professional politicians” would do...
He will slam them as hard as he can and he won’t care which “party” they are with....
Ryan makes a strawman faster then the kenyan. Two peas in a pod, birds of a feather, etc.
Relocate Ryan from DC to Janesville....ASAP.
More like 30 million. And most of them are nice and extremely hard working. I like them better than half the citizens I meet.
But they are here illegally and any nation that wants to remain a nation must control its borders. They have to go. They have to fix their own countries.
And Ryan can FOAD.

Nehlen’s most excellent ad.
IMO, Ryans sound bite wasnt happenstance.
Compare it to Jeb on MSNBC, breaks his heart cant vote for Trump. (Cruz a good guy.)
Cruz on AF1 deplaning ahead of Pelosi for Dallas memorial, where GWB was to speak.
This is orchestrated.
Today, I heard snarky stuff about Trump on an ad for a local radio show—will take care of that tomorrow with a call. Also, Illinois governor was not supportive of Trump—Sheesh like he is doing such a great job—NOT.
Ryan’s sucking up to the moronic black lives matter questioner was pathetic.
They keep saying we can't round up 11 million people...yet they want to take the guns from 300 million. Go figure.
Paul Ryan wants more illegals into the country. We need to deport these people!
The system is broken. It was broken by politicians from local governments, state governments, and the federal government ignoring it and actually facilitating illegals. They broke it.
But you’re right. The way they use broken is BS.
Liberal talking points make about as much sense as.......well, as being a liberal.....
First Rino Ryan and then Rino McVain. August is gonna be the beginning of a great election cycle!
“secure the border”
Cheap labor/open borders lip service.
Like gigilos promising, “You know I love ya baby!”
All they want is legislative amnesty. Trump would veto, Clinton would sign.
OK, who was that walking down the steps from the airplane with all the amnesty shills, behind Obama and in front of Pelosi?
The ambitious sucker being played by them, Ted Cruz. That’s who.
The problem, Ryan, is that politicians have completely ignored voters' wishes by interpreting "immigration reform" as amnesty. We would have supported a real reform--but you can't pull that bait and switch on us and expect our continued support.
... get right with the law and make sure while you are securing the border, you are fixing whats broken in the legal immigration system, said Ryan, the GOPs 2012 vice presidential nominee.
It isn't as much that the system is broken, but that the existing laws are not enforced. Simply enforcing the law would help a lot. Real immigration reform could patch the holes.
How are those poll numbers looking these days, Ryan?

Ryan is right about one thing...
Trump isn’t going to deport millions of illegals anytime soon...
The dems and illegal advocate groups will tie his EO’s up in courts for a while...
meanwhile, build the wall...
