Here’s what liberals DON’T want you to know about Louisiana shooting victim
Allenbwest.com ^ | July 7, 2016 | Matt Palumbo

"So who is Alton Sterling? For starters, liberals should know he possessed an illegal firearm. As a felon with a lengthy rap sheet, Sterling is legally prohibited from possessing a firearm. Police records show Sterling had been a member of the Bloods gang, and had a list of offenses including battery, assault, drugs and weapons charges, and owed $25,000 in child support. He was also a registered pedophile, having impregnated a 14-year-old girl when he was 20. The media, by contrast, has portrayed him as a loving father of five."

“”Although the names of gun permit holders are not public under state law, a source confirmed Castile was issued the permit when he lived in Robbinsdale.””

I don’t think they were referring to the GF (Reynolds)when this was stated in the article.

“t was posted on some forum. I must say, the Minnesota event sure seems to have generated a whole lot of unanswered questions and conflicting reports.”

And this is how we get played. Some source, some forum. I don’t mean to be flippant, but it really is necessary for all of us to stop believing everything we are told.

I’m glad you are seeking information and are obviously troubled by the unanswered questions and conflicting reports. I’m with you on that one.

Just had a poster send me a still pic of Philando with his gun in his lap at the time the officer shot him.

I initially believed this was a bad shooting by the officer. What appears now is the officer walked up to the vehicle on the passenger side rather than the driver side. Perhaps to avoid standing close to traffic.

The officer stopped them because they matched the ID of armed robbery suspects so he was probably on task as he approached. The officer told him not to move because this guy had a pistol in his lap.

Well...he moved...now he doesn't.

From their local news article:

“”Although the names of gun permit holders are not public under state law, a source confirmed Castile was issued the permit when he lived in Robbinsdale.””

Btw, I would like more information too, but the reason the source was probably not ID'd was because the source for this news organization would probably be in violation for even revealing that information to them. Just speculating here.☺

"Let’s pull this apart.
“A source confirmed to the Star Tribune” I’d like an official source to confirm that answer - someone who can see the records.

“Reynolds said....”

Was Reynold’s telling the truth? Who is Reynold’s? Is she credible? This is why investigations are conducted."

We do, indeed, need more facts from credible known sources. Didn't Reynolds initially state that the officer was Chinese? And, why would she specifically say "Chinese" as opposed to...say...Asian?

Officer Jeronimo Yanez.

She has been proven to be wrong about that.

Since gun licenses are sealed, no one knows for sure if he had one. One source claims he received one, and the gf said he did too, but she’s a lying skank. If he was reaching for it, it should be easy to find now.

However, one of the requirements in Minnesota for a carry license is a driver’s license, which he didn’t have for years; hence, the prodigious amount of citations he received (more than 60 in 12 years).

Before we proceed, remember, I am not the author of the local article below.

Here is the local article from the region where the shooting occurred:
_________________________________________________

Philando Castile had a valid permit to carry a gun when he was shot and killed by a St. Anthony police officer, a source confirmed to the Star Tribune Friday.

Castile, a 32-year-old school cook from St. Paul, was killed by a St. Anthony police officer during a traffic stop in Falcon Heights Wednesday night. His final minutes were live-streamed by his girlfriend, Diamond Reynolds, who was a passenger in the car.

In the video, Reynolds said Castile told the officer, Jeronimo Yanez, that he had a permit and was carrying a gun. Yanez shot Castile multiple times.

“He’s licensed to carry, he was trying to get his ID, his wallet out of his pocket and he let the officer knew he had a firearm and was reaching for his wallet,” Reynolds said in the video as a bloodied Castile lay in the driver’s seat dying.

Although the names of gun permit holders are not public under state law, a source confirmed Castile was issued the permit when he lived in Robbinsdale.

Yanez and his partner that night, Joseph Kauser, are on paid administrative leave. On Friday the Falcon Heights City Council, which contracts with the St. Anthony police department, hired a public relations consultant in the wake of the shooting.

Yanez has been with the St. Anthony police department since 2011. Gov. Mark Dayton has asked the state Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and federal authorities to investigate Castile’s death.

Yes, lets do that.

You guys see the date on this article above? If not look at the link. It’s 7/9/2016. This is 3 days after the shooting.

3 days later when the article was written, the article stated “”Although the names of gun permit holders are not public under state law, a source confirmed Castile was issued the permit when he lived in Robbinsdale.””

Begs the question, why would they state what the GF (Reynolds) said in the article about the CW, and then comment about what a, “source” said? I am confident they’re not saying the GF Reynolds is this “source”. Kind of a no brainer.

Why have the cops up there not just told everyone if he did or did not have a CW permit? Doing so is not going to sway or change an investigation one way or another. So why the silence?

Btw rxsid, the Chinese/Asian comment is really a stretch. Half the country couldn’t distinguish one from the other. Lets get real here.

As far as this news article’s unnamed source, as I mentioned early, it’s likely whoever provided a news organization with this information, would probably be in violation for even revealing that info.

Curious, why did they say they shot him point blank? I did see the video in the LA incident, but that’s about it. Did they say he was going for his weapon or the LEOs?

Yesterday I saw a video where a black man explained in the simplest of terms why the cops would have been dead if they didn’t shoot him first.

He explained that with a revolver such as this link http://vintagepistols.com/images/642-2.jpg that you can fire it without putting your hand in your pocket and there’s no hammer to get hung up on your pocket material.

I should have saved it for people such as yourself.

“No. His girlfriend said he had one, but he did not.” (Only the NY Times got this right when reporting.)

According to the MN Sherriff:

After. The weapon was secured after the female and minor were removed from the vehicle and just prior to medics’ removing the deceased to attempt medical intervention on the ground beside the vehicle. Two cops at initial stop, backup present prior to occupants being removed.

Ya mean by trying to find the trigger housing through his apparel? How would he aim it while struggling with two LEOs?

And for those who to jump to conclusions, the record, I am not assigning blame one way or another regarding the Minnesota or LA events.

Good thing they buried Lincoln is a steel cage under 5 tons of concrete.

People would keep digging him up and shooting him again.

Uh, they found it in his vehicle? So the LA suspect did not have a firearm on his person when shot to death?

I am a bit confused by the comment. Did they secure a firearm from the suspects person after he was shot, or was it found in the vehicle? Sorry, just want to get it right.
