He could pick Daffy Duck and I’d still vote for him. But Flynn sounds like a very interesting choice.

This. What a waste of time to worry about his veep pick. Vp choices don’t mean much unless the President dies, though they set a person up for running for President one day. I hate newt as a choice but it’s not like I’m going to stay home if he picks him. In fact, if he did choose Daffy Duck, I do admire daffy’s focus on justice. Strong, swift justice. We could do a lot worse. Also I like the way, if he were a victim of an assassin’s bullet, his beak would swing around his head a few times and he would recover fully.

Reagan was once a Registered Democrat. Things change.

Especially political appointees who register for the party of their boss, like Comey.

“Anybody with a “D” after their name is not to be put on the Republican ticket”

GG, I like a lot of your posts, but I’m not sure you understand that DJT a) may not be the Republican nominee, and b) even if he is, he will be running against the last three Republican nominees and most, or all, of the party organization.

Miller was the last of a dying breed.

That was the point I was trying to make. With his departure, the Democrats lost any vestage of moderate/conservative. They tacked completely left ...and then laughed as the Republicans chased after them!!

And my point is there are still a lot of voters out there who think of themselves are “Democrats” that are not happy with how far left the party is now.

But why should they suddenly be “Republican” when the GOP has tacked Left right along with them?

There are plenty of traditional Republicans and traditional Democrats who now find that they are in the same boat together. And that is what Trump is trying to appeal to.

General Michael T. Flynn

As Donald Trump has repeatedly said, we need real 'toughness' now in Washington DC. I pray this General is a real asskicker take-no-prisoners type who can set a very serious no-nonsense tone in DC.

DT also says we need to badly upgrade and strengthen our military. An Army General as VP will be a strong presence to Congress in getting our priorities straightened out.

Riiiiiiiiiiight. Here are your "woikin' class" Senators:

Elizabeth Warren, Chris Murphy, Sidney Blumenthal, Ed Markey, Sheldon Whitehouse, Jack Reed, Pat Leahy, Bernie Sanders.

Wow. That is a veritable stable of blue-collar hardhats "fightin' for the woikin' man."

Not.

No Democrats. No way. Never.

A vice president has very few responsibilities in the U.S. government. Trump may need someone who can help him navigate DC and Congress, but it sure doesn't have to be his VP. He can hire anyone as a senior White House advisor to fill that role.

Chief of staff Newt Gingrich?

Reagan was a Republican for years before he ran for President. This bozo is still a Democrat.

Um.... You should have seen the Bernie site the day Comey did his little tap dance for Hillary. I PROMISE YOU, on that one topic, you could have been reading FR. They were up to date on all her scandals and corruption, intelligently so. Several posts lambasted Obama as crooked and corrupt and in on it as well. I was kind of shocked.

Today I was on Reddit seeing many Bernie supporters talking about voting for Trump. They don’t like him but they don’t feel he is a dirty criminal. They do not see Hillary as having any ideology at all other than selfish greed, and they see how beholden she is to the machine, and how she will do ANYTHING they need her to do.

If FR is wising up to the fact that our freedom depends not on “fighting libs” but on getting conservatives, libs, low infos, ALL AMERICANS, away from the globalist elite who RULE us stronger than King George ever could have, THEN FR IS CHANGING TO MEET REALITY, that’s all.

I don’t know much about this individual, but I like the fact that Trump went down to D.C. a few days ago & caught on right away that the GOP was/is still full of crap & his instincts kicked in about not putting one of those people on his ticket & might just go elsewhere.
