If the police anywhere want sympathy from me they need to protest the FBI.

There is no rule of law in the US anymore.

Until Hillary Clinton is prosecuted there is no reason to support any law enforcement.]

I’m sure the officers who were under fire tonight watching their colleagues get gunned down in front of their eyes share your concern.

I was thinking something similar. You can’t expect continued lawlessness from our Government leaders and not expect that it will eventually filter down to the citizenry. I’m not condoning either in this particular case. But at some point, when people feel they have no justice, rightly or wrongly they will take matters into their own hands.

Those of us who believe in the just cause of our forefathers and our Constitution and Bill of Rights see the handwriting on the wall. We could very well be fighting in the streets to save our 2nd amendment rights. Some would consider it just, and some wouldn’t.

As if your local PD aren't stuck on the wrong side of the FBI just like you are? WAKE UP! Local Police are mostly on the "wrong" side of FedGov stormtroopers right along with the rest of us.

Look at California, and the slew of new anti-gun crap Gov. Brown just puked up all over that State. Local Sheriffs have ALREADY been looking the other way when they encounter gun owners ever since the LAST round of anti-gun spew erupted out of Sacramento; they're already giving citizens in their jurisdictions 2nd Amendment cover by implementing a silent pattern of non-enforcement; it's not 100%, but it's a majority who're doing it. Now it's getting to the level where your average beat cop is being actively forced to decide, "Do I look the other way as a matter of personal routine, or do I play Anti-2nd Amendment Thug on behalf of Sacramento? Am I a mindless pawn, or not? Exactly whom am I here to protect and serve?"

See how that works?

Now, a lotta State legislatures are refusing to march in step with FedGov on guns and the 2nd Amendment — and that's good, but officers in blue States like Illinois, New York and California...? Who's got their backs? If they get a crapload of anti-cop rhetoric from sane gun owners now, who's side you think they'll be on when the shit really does hit the fan? So, a little empathy for — and maybe some strategic, personal conversations with — your local LEO's might be in order as they personally grapple with how to do their regular jobs without becoming the proxy anti-constitutionalist army of jackbooted thugs FedGov would like to make them into. Most local officers live right there in town with their wives and kids, and you really think they want to be part of a FedGov force that threatens to rip their own communities into pieces??

Except in cases of egregious capitulation to the thinly-veiled FedGov agenda — and I mean on an individual basis, not by department — you, and I and everyone else are going to be WAAAAYY better off if we've won The Blue Crew over to our side BEFORE things get hot and heavy, and tarring them all in broad-brush fashion isn't going to help that effort.

Thin about it this way: EVERY cop you can win over NOW is one more cop you won't be trading live fire with later on when things really ARE ugly. And you better understand this, too: ALL of us are going to NEED ALL THE HELP WE CAN GET.

Don’t plan on calling the cops - ever! If you really still believe what you just posted in haste.
