Florida Rep. Corrine Brown has been indicted and will be appear in federal court in Jacksonville on Friday, according to First Coast News.
The Jacksonville television station, citing "multiple sources," said the indictment remains sealed.
It had been known publicly since March that Brown, a Democrat, was facing a Department of Justice Investigation related to "fraudulent activities," and whether or not she improperly solicited charitable donations and misused campaign funds. DOJ officials asked the House Ethics Committee to halt a separate investigation while they conducted their probe.
The target of the investigation has not been identified, but Brown does have links to the head of a charity who pleaded guilty in March to conspiracy to commit wire fraud and agreed to cooperate with the feds. Court documents mention a public official, identified only as "person A." In addition, Brown was also served with a federal subpoena in January.

When the Florida Gators won a championship, she hastened to send "gratulates" to the team and singled out running back Percy "Harvey" (last name is Harvin, Corrine) whom she admired for his "gutsly" performance.
She's been feeding off the public trough as a Dimocrap elected official since 1982 (34 freepin' years!)

I was roasted a little for saying this in another post, but with black people, especially black politicians, there are “rules” and then there are “RULES.”
They don’t break the RULES like murder, rape, assault, etc. But “rules” like bribery, kick-backs, no show jobs to third cousins, etc are not “rules” that they think they have to follow.
What difference would it make?

These are the people running our country! There's Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee - who represents the district of NASA's Johnson Space Center - who asked if the Mars rover could travel to where the astronauts planted the flag... There's Congressman whats-his-name who was afraid that adding an air base to an island would tip it over... We could go on and on with this.
Our wondrous republic is now being run by ignorant uninformed people who are convinced that they are the only smart people in the country. And they will be re-elected! sigh
