I wonder how the lawsuit filed by the woman suing Starbucks because her expensive drink was mostly ice is going?

I never heard of the suit but she should be fined for wasting the court’s time.

Anyone dumb enough to pay Starbucks prices for coffee deserves to be separated from their money.
You can get free coffee from the pro desk of lowes, many sherwin williams stores, most auto repair places, and a ton of other places.

Seven or so years ago, I bought a nice espresso machine, two coffee mills, and a milk heater/frother (works better than the steam wand on the espresso machine). I make two lattes a day most every day, one for me, one for the wife. ~$1k, call it. I figure it all paid back in less than a year.

I always hear people call them “FourBucks.” They’ll might have to have a new nickname after the increase.

Funny how far left wing supporting companies don’t care if their products are “affordable”

I like their “Sumatra Bold” unground bean, and their 8 oz. bottled mocha that becomes a two-fer with milk.

Never been to a Starbucks because I’ve never gotten good recommendations. Lots of folks say the coffee tastes like it has been burnt. I can do that at home for free :)
Seems like they charge prices that are way too high for what you get.
Now, I have another reason not to show up.

I would boycott them, but that would require that I was spendthrift enough to shop there in the first place.

I don’t drink cold coffee beverages, nor do I drink ice, or hot tea. The few times I had hot Starbucks coffee, it tasted
burnt. I brew my own coffee at home, from beans I grind fresh each day. If I’m traveling anywhere and want a cup of coffee, I’ll go to Dunkin’ Donuts, and if there isn’t one of those around, I’ll stop at a McDonald’s.

I guess their increased min-wages is not working out so well for them.

Unfortunately, that price adjustment was prematurely entered into the point of sale systems in our U.S. company-operated stores. As a result, some customers were charged incorrectly.Yeah, *THAT* and $5.00 $7.50 will get you a cheap latte at Starbuck's...

Even if I wanted-or could afford-to buy overpriced coffee from Starbucks, it would not be practical-the nearest one is more than 40 miles away-I prefer making coffee here, fresh every morning-made with the Columbian blend coffee I buy at the grocery store in the nearest town...
