This is not the time for “I told you so’s”. Everyone knew the fix was in. The only question was how they were going to pull it off.

January 2017 will be highly depressing and won’t end until January 2025 I am afraid. American voters are stupid and the FBI just gave them reason to vote stupidly for sure. Our country is over. Get your money out of all financial institutions and under your mattress where you MIGHT be able to survive the future. I know that’s a lot of hyperbowl but actually pretty accurate. The Supreme Court is gone for 30 years at least. The immigration policies will keep the republicans from winning elections for a long while. Funny how reagan gave amnesty and in 1992 we had Clinton for 8 years. We barely won the presidencies in 2000 and 2004. And lost again in 2008 and 2012 by a lot. Think how it will be when another 12-30 million become instant citizens. America had a good run.
The statutes say nothing about intent. For Comey to use the supposed lack of intent as his rationale for refusing to recommend prosecution is breathtaking in its mendacity. There is no requirement for intent. It is a false perception created and endlessly promoted by the media ever since this all began to provide political cover for the predetermined conclusion.
This administration is a disgrace. Comey is a disgrace. And the once honorable FBI is no more. It’s indistinguishable from any other mobbed up union organization.

I said all along she would not be indicted and I don't recall any negative comments by FReepers to my opinions. What surprised me is that during the FBI Director's statement there were still FReepers saying she would be indicted.
The sad thing is that you ever thought this was a 50/50 proposition.

Old Comey did say that OTHERS in government KNEW that Clinton was using a private server and did send and receive to/from that server.. Now WHO would that be?
You see if you charge her then you might have to charge them all.
Also- I believe that they knew in advance and the tarmac visit was a setup to bring all the attention on this announcement that Lynch would “accept” the recommendation.
