The recent release of House Benghazi Committee interview transcripts includes one from a now-retired State Department official who appears to have given inconsistent statements about his knowledge of Hillary Clintons email practices.
During an interview with the committee last year, John Bentel, the former director of the Executive Secretariats information resource management division, which manages records and communications for State Departments leadership, claimed he had no knowledge of Clintons use of personal email account or private server.
But emails recently released by Judicial Watch as well as findings laid out in a recent State Department inspector generals report appear to show that he was involved in discussions about Clintons email use. He also received a memo in March 2009 which showed that Clintons private server was set to be installed at her New York residence.
Further complicating the matter are questions from Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley, who has asked Bentel whether his legal expenses are being paid by Clinton or some of her associates.

Those gubment idiots sure give themselves some mighty fancy job titles. Just reading that made my mouth shape into an arrogant sort of do nothing, know nothing sneer. Try reading it out loud see if it does the same to you!
Leverage. In a normal world. But of course our feckless and enabling GOP will not stand for that. Prosecution of crimes is for the pee-ons.
like that Burriesci who testified before a House committee. Her title is Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Office of Screening Coordination in the Department of Homeland Security. Yet, she couldn't answer basic questions such as how many Syrian refugees have entered the United States in the last year?" She couldnt explain whether most people come into the country by plane or by vehicle or on foot, how the department tracks those who leave by car, the number of people who have come in legally and overstayed, the departments or agencies that have access to the list of people who overstay, the databases the list is entered into, or how DHS assesses potential threats among those who overstay. This all from the person who ( according to her elaborate title ) is in charge of all of that.
The only reason they are trying to get the Gitmo creatures there is because once they are on US soil their “supposed” rights change. They will no longer fall under a military tribunal and will be moved into the justice system. Get ready for that one. Terrorists soon to be released on to US soil.

Isn’t Deputy Assistant redundant?
Congress will of course overlook this since he was simply protecting the greatest woman the world has ever seen.
I suppose if it were Deputy to the Assistant, it wouldn't be. But it isn't. I think her job title is consistent with most high level postilions in government. They are redundant.
