Who’s even more powerful than the king? The person who gets to pick the king. And as of this morning that person is, quite possibly, FBI Director James Comey.
Today’s Morning Joe reported breaking news from the New York Times: Attorney General Loretta Lynch has decided that she will accept the recommendation of the FBI regarding its investigation of Hillary Clinton’s e-mails. If Comey recommends against an indictment of Hillary, that would lift a huge cloud that has been dragging her candidacy down. It would put Hillary in a very strong position to become the next president. But should Comey recommend the indictment of Hillary, her candidacy would effectively be destroyed. Dems might scramble to replace her as their candidate, but in any case Donald Trump would be well-positioned to win the election.

FoxNews this morning showed a clip of the Arizona reporter who said two interesting things— (1) BC and Lynch’s goons allegedly banned all cell phones from the meeting which conflicts with the cover story that it was just a friendly get together— IOW, BC and Lynch both *knew* it was wrong; and (2) the reporter could not find any golf course that BC visited in Tuscon.
This reminds me of schlocky TV movies about DC intrigue from 20 years ago, where shady politicians get into limousines and have discussions with powerful high priced lawyers and then pop back out, the premise being that the discussion occurs entirely in a “cone of silence” such that nothing that is said could be leaked to the press or law enforcement. Most importantly, no paper trail, no email, and no wiretap recording. But Bill being Bill can’t go anywhere, especially on sidewalks in DC, without attracting bimbo attention, so a DC limo meeting is out of the question, leaving something like the tarmac stunt... anyway Lynch is holding a conference soon, so maybe we will learn a bit more soon...

Only because the public accepts explanations that fly in the face of the way things really work.
Comey can throw it right back. It's easy. The FBI does not forward "no crime happened" files to prosecutors. If they did, the prosecutors would be buried under material that they have no need to be aware of.
When the FBI forwards a file, that means the FBI has concluded there is probable cause a crime has been committed. We make no recommendation whether or not to charge, that would be stepping on the prosecutor's toes.

but the story is that it was Bill’s volition to meet. I suppose the suggestion is that the MSM is still getting it wrong and that it was Lynch’s volition to meet?
How could Bill find out that Lynch’s plane was on the tarmac?
Clearly, someone proposed the meeting and the other party accepted the idea... but which is which...
No matter what Comey does its going to be a negative for Hillary.
If Comey recommends indictment and the DOJ refuses a firestorm will erupt in the FBI.
If Comey does not recommend indictment I think ticked off people in the FBI will leak the evidence.
Its a win win for Trump as he’s not being investigated for anything.
