Warning: House office water tainted with lead

A House office’s water supply has been tainted by high lead levels and may be unsafe, according to a warning blasted out to congressional offices Tuesday night.
In a “dear colleagues” letter, House office buildings superintendent William Weidemeyer told members and staff that the Cannon House Office Building was experiencing lead levels above normal, according to a recent water test.
“This week, the AOC received results within the Cannon House Office Building that indicate lead levels in drinking water sources are slightly above the EPA standard,” the email reads. “Although the cause of the increase remains under investigation, in an abundance of caution all drinking water sources and office-provided water filtration units in the building will be turned off beginning at 10 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, 2016.”
The office will be providing bottled water for drinking.

And all this time I thought it was only grain alcohol and rainwater?

My hundred year old house and most of my neighbors have lead water pipes!
100% lead!
In this area the minerals in the water form a coating on the inside of the pipes, also the village adds more to insure lead free water.
And simply reading my posts, you can see, I’m good to go!
Even if you have newer pipes the older fixtures are made from brass(~8% lead), NEW LEAD FREE ~4% ok.
SOMEONE SHOULD TELL OUR CONGRESS NOT TO PUT THEIR MOUTH ON THE FAUCET.
Another reason to implement term limits. The longer they stay there, the dumber they get.
Most Americans don’t drink tap water. They drink bottled water.
There is no difference. One can bottle tap water and many leading brands are nothing but tap water put into bottles.
That would explain why so many congresscritters are brain dead.
This could explain a lot and could be a reason the Republicrat lead heads continue to appear as though they support the phony occupant of the White Hut.
They supported Ass Carter and Jeh and the two lesbians on the SCOTUS.
That will be their excuse for bowing down to the libs.
Well that certainly explains a lot!
Congress wants to lecture us about Climate Change and they can’t even provide safe drinking water for themselves?
Pelosi will have to ‘Drain the Swamp’ one more time.
