BREAKING NEWS.
RIP Former Head Coach Pat Summitt Of TN.
I read about her illness in the WSJ yesterday: complications of early-onset Alzheimer’s Disease. May she rest in peace, and my sympathies to her family and friends.
Condolences to family and friends of Pat Summitt.
Reported to AM to make a needed correction on this thread, had computer problems early this morning and the “FoxNews.com” did not get posted in full.
RIP Classy lady.
Coach Summitt helped put women’s college basketball on the map.
Thank-you AM!
Condolences to her family.
Legend is right, it was always a pleasure to watch this great LADY coach and instill good values in her teams.
GO LADY VOLS!
at 80, my mother in law became a Lady Vols fan....... big time.
eventually she moved into assisted living and covered the walls of her apartment with lady vols stuff. on game day she dressed from head to toe in orange and white. If the evening meal drug on she would get fidgety because she wanted to have all her stuff in place well before the game began. She knew all of the “girls” by name.
Pat Summit came to town and my wife arranged for mom to wrangle an invitation to meet coach summit. to the surprise of both, they had on nearly identical lime green suits. it was a fantastic day
Alas, they both are now gone
Yes , along with Geno Auriemma at UConn . R.I.P.
100 percent graduation rate for her players.
That’s her most telling stat, from where I sit.
Always thought her to be a born-again Christian, the way she carried herself, her speech patterns.
I believe she is at home with the Lord. Maybe talking basketball with John Wooden, even.
Good for Pat Summitt, condolences to her friends and family.
