The Supreme Court struck down Texas abortion restrictions that had caused more than half of the states abortion clinics to close.

I’ve been hoping for Texit for decades but doubt I’ll live to see it.
You can always move to Britain :)
I mean people like Mitch McConnell who refused to say Trump was qualified, the candidates who won’t endorse him, Mark Levin.
An appropriate day for Senator Cruz and all who supported him to endorse Donald Trump for President given his already published Supreme Court preferences.
Hear, hear!!
Please ping me if you get word that cRuz has done this. TIA.
No, you’ll never see Texit. Texans are very patriotic. If I were looking for the state with the largest percentage of citizens wanting to leave the USA, I would think that Hawaii would be that state.
Well for the first hundred years or so SCOTUS functioned against violations of the Constitution coming from the legislative or executive branch.
After that, especially starting with Roosevelt and accelerating in the 1950s, it itself became the source of unconstitutional actions.
Now it functions as a unelected super-legislature-for-life.

If Trump loses, Hillary names Scalias replacement and were done for a long time.
Long time as in forever.

At least, possibly, until the next Revolution.
I’m a Texan and I’d love to see us leave. But I don’t see it ever happening.
“A free abortion, being necessary for unlimited free sex, the right of the people to an abortion, shall not be infringed.”
But, but, but . . . Trump’s gonna pick his lib sister for the court! /heavy sarcasm
Take you anti-Trump crap someplace else . It’s not wanted here and you’re damn sure not going to get away with it.
~~Vote Trump 2016~~ ~~Vote Trump 2016~~ ~~Vote Trump 2016~~
I agree. Not to mention the amount of gibsmedats that reside in our great state....who would vote against Texit :(
The kind of conservative values that Cruz, Ryan, and McDonnell love.
Ginsburg has two children.
I don’t think the supreme court liberals realized the danger of this decision. Now that they have demonstrated that any unduly regulations against a constitutional right is illegal, they have now opened the floodgates that any regulations against the firearm industry is additionally illegal as it puts unduly restrictions on a person’s right to bare arms. I think we need to echo this as loud as possible. They have just lost the gun control fight!
Except the "undue burden" standard relates only to abortion cases (as a result of the SCOTUS decision in Casey), not Second Amendment ones.
The seems to be no population limit for hades. Hell continues to over populate.
another evidence we need to vote for Trump. We are more likely to get conservative justices than we are with Shrillary.
Ever since the SCOTUS enshrined abortion as a constitutional right in Roe v. Wade, I have never understood the point of passing these laws that attempt to limit abortion. They are just pissing into the wind...
The only way to fight abortion is to overturn Roe v. Wade.
Yes, excellent quote.
