If American history is applied the EU - the European Union will raise an army and 'force' Britian to stay in the Union. However, the EU most likely won't have an 'Abraham Lincoln' sworn in in the next few months who will replace their current 'James Buchanan' as the Commission President...re: South Carolina - December 20, 1860.

Another big loser in this Brexit thing is the commmie piggies down at the U.N. Now, it’s America’s turn to tell those dinosaurs to get lost. National sovereignty must be restored.

EU has no backbone, no ability to demand anyone stay. They are instead being overwhelmed by invading hordes of Islamic people, including terrorists, that will doom them if not reversed. Wonder if any other countries might now be emboldened to reject the EU?

Anything O wants his subjects to do is always for his own selfish interests or the leftists therefore the correct answer is to always do the opposite.

King Jug-Ears Hussein the First will become available in late January.

Stand by for a lot of the media spoiled voters had a tantrum yesterday lines! I already heard someone on the BBC twisting himself into knots explaining why the result isn't really a meaningful win for the LEAVE side because the margin is too small.

Soros is probably all swelled up, his rings won’t fit, favorite dress is too snug, it’s an awful thing, and he lost all of his friends in Orlando last week too.
It’s not easy being an unshaven Dr. Evil.

I hope I’m wrong, but I don’t see the global elites allowing this to happen so easily. I don’t know if the courts over there can stop it, or if the British government is truly bound by this vote.
I’ll believe it when I see it.
To: scpolitician
I’m proud of the UK. I look forward to America’s future.
I hadn’t followed the issues that contributed to UK’s vote. But analysis on BBC last night often discussed their immigration issue and somehow it seems this was a big factor in the voting.
I would appreciate a knowledgeable FReeper explaining what power the EU held over the member nations when it came to immigration to each independent country. Why was immigration a motivating policy in the vote to leave the EU?
Thanks in advance.
