Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump said that Britons had taken back control of their country on Friday, after they voted to leave the European Union (EU) in a referendum.
Trump arrived in Scotland -- whose citizens took part in the referendum -- on Friday morning for the opening of his Trump Turnberry luxury golfing resort.
In a wide ranging press conference the tycoon said that, in the wake of the referendum, the break-up of the EU looked like it was "on its way, and we'll see what happens."
Trump also commented on President Barack Obama's warning in April that the U.K. would find itself at the back of the queue in trade talks if it left the EU.
"President Obama did say, I guess, that they should move to the back of the line," he said.
"That wouldn't happen with me: the UK has been such a great ally for so long, they'll always be at the front of the line, they've been amazing allies in good times and in bad times."
On Thursday, the U.K. voted to leave the European Union by 51.9 percent to 48.1 percent in one of the most significant referendums in generations. The result stunned global financial markets, which had priced in a victory for the "remain" vote.
In a Facebook statement released on Friday morning, Trump said that the British people had "exercised the sacred right of all free peoples."
"A Trump Administration pledges to strengthen our ties with a free and independent Britain, deepening our bonds in commerce, culture and mutual defense," the statement went on to add. "The whole world is more peaceful and stable when our two countries – and our two peoples – are united together, as they will be under a Trump Administration."

It's amazing what happens when people are brave and courageous and do the right thing contrary to the forces of evil that surround them. I hope Britain's leaving the EU will start a domino effect and spit in the face of the NWO globalists who have been moving their chess pieces around to disarm people globally, kill the dissenters to establish a true tyranny, remove cash, and regulate and tax the world into oblivion to enrich themselves further.

Trump has his finger on the world. Why? Because he deals with people throughout the world building hotels, apartments, golf courses. He wasn’t giving multi million dollar speeches to international merchant banks. He works, Hillary steals.
I love it that he says that the Brits are our Allies, we stand together, we fight together in good times and bad times. A true leader.

America and Britain are bound by language and culture, the common-law system, the idea of constitutional guarantees and rights, and (to a lesser extent these days) common religious views.
It seems a bit of an exaggeration to describe 1775, 1812, and the side conflict with Britain in 1861-1865 as family quarrels, but compared to the fundamental matters that bind us together, it's not far off.
It is the difference between dependence and independence. The core of the culture in America is (or was) being independent and not dependent; both globally and nationally (the collective versus the individual).
This is what made American great, IMO.

This vote on the EU had been scheduled for months now. A few weeks ago Trump decided to have a ribbon-cutting ceremony for his renovated Turnberry golf course in Scotland, almost certainly knowing that it would be on the morning that the results of the Brexit vote were announced. He had already publicly discussed the EU referendum vote before he scheduled the trip for today, so it’s not like he wouldn’t have known about the timing beforehand.
As he said during the press conference, unlike Obama and Hillary, he had a feeling that the Brits would vote “leave.” He also had a prepared written statement praising the vote all ready to be put out too early today. About five days ago, he also scheduled a press conference for while he was going to be in the UK, which is interesting if he just wanted to discuss a golf course. Personally, I don’t believe for one second that his timing was coincidental.

Come November, the American people will have the chance to re-declare their independence. Americans will have a chance to vote for trade, immigration and foreign policies that put our citizens first. They will have the chance to reject today’s rule by the global elite, and to embrace real change that delivers a government of, by and for the people. I hope America is watching, it will soon be time to believe in America again.
